About Stephen “The Devil” French
Drug dealers beware. The Devil is coming to get you.
Stephen French invented the perfect crime: robbing drug barons of their huge fortunes. In SAS-style swoops, The Devil raided their fortified mansions and tortured them with horrifying violence until they paid up. Through “taxing” the richest and most powerful crime-lords in the UK, he netted over £20 million.
The Devil was no ordinary criminal. He was a world-champion fighter, who studied psychology at university to master mind-control techniques, and he used the teachings of Machiavelli and samurai warriors to outwit his enemies. He also had a complex relationship with Curtis Warren, the wealthiest criminal in British history. The two were childhood pals, then partners and finally bitter enemies.
Stephen is now an author, public speaker and activist.

after a ten year run addicted to crack, I'm only a week into sobriety, and as I listen to your episodes while I struggle to sleep, I often find myself dreaming that I'm in jail and these stories are being told to me by my cellmate. it's a fuckin trip, sometimes it's nightmarish, sometimes the stories are being told to me by crazy fucks from my own past; on this particular day, I dreamt I was in a posh cell, fully furnished , a total fantasy vision of prison...the funniest part is when these stories are told and the person I see in my dream is a person, a criminal friend, from my own past. It really is a trip. I'm 41 now, goin on 50, a criminal-outlaw since the age of 4 or 5, believe it or not...and although, I've earned a Master's degree, I have talent, skills, here I am at rock bottom..alone, in debt, struggling to figure out how all this gets put back together. Do I have story to tell, would anyone listen...who the fuck knows, who the fuck would care anyway HA! Here's to you Shaun. Thank you for helping me get through the night.

@@Johnsmith-xd5gi Like he has said himself most of what he claims can be confirmed online on way or another, and i know that he is being honest about his early life in the pool as my family came from the exact same area of the pool, also he is correct on the only way to beat the system and get justice is by learning in depth the way the system operates and the vague guidelines they do it in, also not only useful for actions against police, politicians and the likes but helped me doing the same when my daughter faced being punished and removed from college for reasons which are down to her ADHD (poor concentration and being restless which would at times irritate the teacher), only through researching both the symptoms of the illness and equal rights had i learnt that to be told off and punished is discrimination (which is pretty obvious) but also that their had been failings in providing the adequate support required, even after telling them at a meeting i was told it was not true that it is discrimination, they had to accept it when i gave them official documents as proof. i know its different than taking officials to higher courts but the main principle of researching things in depth and do not rely on others to protect your rights. All the best :)

*I grew up in Middlesbrough. my family was poor, I mentally escaped my surroundings by reading library books and studying people, comparing them to each other. During my first ten visits to London at age 16 onwards, I was shocked by the quality, intelligence, and wealth of the people seen there. They did not drink Camerons Strongarm, sit in pubs, visit betting shops, or live in South Bank, or Cannon Street Mbro, they certainly did not mix with the Lee Duffys of this world. Smart people, rich people, and wise people. You can follow their example, Do it today. If need be get out of Middlesbrough and move.*

you should have studied your surroundings in my beloved Boro, I'm a born n bred Grovehillian, (from the notorious council estate Grove Hill) and I've lived and worked all over the UK, especially down south, living in London, Kent, Essex etc and hand on heart I wouldn't want to live anywhere else then Middlesbrough, yes it's a poverty stricken decaying industrial town, full of idiots, roid heads, and plastic gangsters who think they are in a mob movie, but it's also home, with the countryside and the seaside basically on our doorstep, be proud of your home, and believe me the grass is never greener, it just a bit different 😉 UTB
