Chris Cavanah the ref and VAR in Everton v Man City caused this by their total incompetence in not awarding Everton a penalty, even Micah Richards admitted it was a penalty though he was more concerned of what effect it would have on Everton’s future position and wouldn’t mention the obvious advantage it gave City over LFC. However to finish in the top 2 in ALL competitions they have entered is a remarkable feat currently with only 3 defeats (one didn’t really count either) all season. Top goal scorer and assister or playmaker not given premier league player of season reeks of favouritism to me.

That's what I noticed too. He gave hugs to every family member, every kid, took pictures with them. Shows how much character he has and how much he cares about his players and their families. So glad he's our manager.

Good shout they don't lose many.and play great stuff .but 87 _88 side were awesome Barnes , Beardsley, Aldridge Nichol. I'm convinced they would have won a couple of European cups in that era if not for the ban ...The 5.0 demolition of a very good forrest side always sticks in my mind ....And I'm a Gooner .

Im proud, this team has given me so much joy, it's like die with honor.... we fought as much as we could, endured as much as possible, tears, mistakes misses, all part of the game... however... still so much proud, we can say we were the ones who almost got the Quadruple, only team who have ever been that close, sill the CL up, but that's revenge, that is personal, Liverpool haven't forget that day, the Spanish, will pay this time YNWA✊✊✊

Yes, but what will it say about the much vaunted EPL if RM beat Liverpool after already having disposed of Chelsea and Man City in this season's Champions League campaign ? And Salah has been talking Big but was injured in the Cup Final and I wouldn't be surprised if he's outmanned and out thought and out fouled in Paris as well.

Just goes to show how good we are that a cup double, a second place finish that could have been first on another day, and a champion's league final coming up is considered a bittersweet season. I mean trophy wise we've already won more than any other premier league team :p

Can't express enough my gratitude to everyone involved with the club. You made us proud, and we still have a trophy to fight for! What an incredible season. We will always have this with us, these times, no matter what life has in store for us. We lived these special times, and breathed this air. For a time, we were almost invincible. Thank you, to Mr. Klopp, his backroom staff, the players, the supporters inside the stadium and those cheering on the club from lands afar. We are a family. We are Liverpool. YNWA ❤️

A fantastic season, we are so proud of course. Despite that well said, we cannot let City win 4 times in 5 years and be happy to just keep it toe a toe. Thats not how a big club should behave. They have Haaland now, if we want to win it Klopp and FSG must be more ambitious next transfer window.
