Liverpool 9 (NINE) Bournemouth 0 - The Matchday Vlog

Спорт

Cherries were humiliated on a global level on Saturday as a rejuvenated Liverpool put Scott Parker's men to the sword in a performance which oozed class. Despite that, the away side facilitated the Reds momentum, with poor performances, and tactical guidance which left fans confused and bewildered - yet followed up with the inevitable buck passing at full time.
These aren't the games that will dictate our season, but the manner of the performance and the excuses and self-preservation from Scott Parker when the going gets tough will now win him any plaudits in and round Dean Court.
A tough tough day. Vlogged by Sam Davis - / samdavisuk

After gauging the sentiment amongst Cherries fans yesterday, we decided not to upload after the game yesterday, but now the dust has settled, we're ready to provide you a raw view of what happened yesterday at Anfield. A really tough day, where we were humiliated on a global level. Apologies that the vlog is so long! If you see any value in what you are watching, please consider either supporting the channel at afcbpodcast.com/coffee - or sharing it on your social media. We need to bounce back from this, and it has to happen on Wednesday. Sam x

From a Liverpool perspective, Any team in this league can meet another team when they are on a good day or a bad day depending on immediate form and the luck of the fixtures. Shit happens and you got the full barrowload. This was just one of those exceptions and wont be a measure of your real form. We scored two early goals and you were in trouble, on another day, we dont score those two and the nerves from the previous three weak performances return and we struggle. It really can be down to those moments sometimes. Its a really well done vid, reflects well on you and your support and will win you lots of neutrals respect. Genuinely hope you have a good season and stay up. YNWA PS - loved the ‘we’ve got the ball, we’ve lost the ball’ chant

We can't let this dictate the rest of our season. Saints have lost 9-0 twice and not been relegated - it doesn't need to mean anything. That said, performance was unacceptable. Need a reaction Wednesday. But Parker needs to wind his neck in with his post-loss comments. This team is surely better than 4-0/3-0/9-0 on the bounce - regardless of opposition! He needs to sort his tactics out and stop hedging his bets on 'help' that may not arrive. Good on you all for travelling. UTC 🍒

True colours didn't take long to come out in the Premier league did they. I'm surprised bournemouth made it back from Liverpool with the amount of players parkers chucking under the bus. Just get him out now and give it big fletch until the right man is available at least we can never doubt fletchs love for the club and putting the badge, the team and us ahead of himself.

Liverpool fan here, massive respect to you, very balanced blog. 99% of away fans come here with the 'sign on' crap being sung all game rather than showing support for their own teams but you actually sang about Bournemouth and it was all just light hearted banter on Saturday. I don't get why they ejected that lad either! I was sat by the Kop and our fans were loud until they kind of gave up after the 6th went in! To the lad slagging Klopp off though, he has praised Bournemouth a few times saying it's the nicest place he's visited with the team and I thought he was respectful not to do his usual fist pumps at the end as he knew Scott was hurting. Hopefully you can bring a few players in and stay up, at least you've got a few of the toughest fixtures out the way. Good luck guys👍

Bournemouth have had one of the toughest fixture starts this season - played 2 out of 3 of Europe’s best teams and an Arsenal team that are playing lights out. Thing is, you’re 16th in the table and have a number of winnable games coming up. Look at MU…worst season in PL history was last season and they started off even worse this season and were the laughing stock of the league. Somehow they turned it around and beat Liverpool. You lot gotta dig down deep, get that form back from the Villa game you won apply it to the games ahead and keep on fighting. You might be down, but you’re not out…keep your heads up boys!

Arsenal fan here: * I really hate how you guys concede so early, it shows how low the morale is of the players * There is no excuse to losing 9-0, no matter how good Liverpool is, that was just an abysmal performance * Your next three games are crucial: Wolves, Forest and Brighton Brighton will be a definite loss imo, you guys need to pick up your form to have a go at teams like Brentford, Southampton and Leicester. All in all, I feel for you passionate fans having to go through all that. Hopefully you see some change!

Bournemouth, spend on more quality players. You were given a tough hand and faced a very angry Liverpool that needed an statement win to shut down the outside noise. YNWA ❤️

Sad day for the club, I don't blame the players, Scott Parker does that, but let's be honest he is not a manager for this level. The players are better than this and the last few results. We need a change of we are going to have any chance of surviving in this league. Embarrassing doesn't even cover it, that was a shambles. Anyway I support the team no matter what. UTCIAD!!!

It was a difficult watch with the Arsenal match at home.. I went to see them with my son in the away coaches..but yesterday for all Bournemouth devoted fans making the trip to Anfield and at home are devastated..it is a real knock and blow for our team.. the players today will be hurting..we are better than this the team just don’t seem to be playing with the flair/ connection and fight that we normally see..just feels a different team at the mo…yes it’s going to be more challenging for sure in the Premier league but when Bmth dig deep and belief and confidence is high we can deliver…let’s get our team re focused and playing like we can..feel for Moore he is really trying..Liverpool we’re in great form and their quality of football just flowed and was on point..let’s hope Bmth can redeem themselves really quickly against Wolves, Forest and Brighton these will be challenging games and Bournemouth need to fight for each game they fought to get in the Premier league and they need to fight harder to stay in it…hope Parker re looks quickly at the players he puts on straight away..let’s hope Solankie being back will give us strength.. we really need it at this point.. real feeling of humiliation but we need to move now to the next game fighting harder!! Fans deserve this!! Xx 🍒🍒

Brilliant vlog, as usual. You guys do such a great job representing our club. Josh was actually the highlight of our day. I can't believe you found him after the game. Like you say it was just a bit of friendly banter. I hope doing these vlogs never become a chore and you will carry on doing them despite some poor results. I always look forward to watching and listening to your opinions. UTC!

Despite being humiliated on the pitch (albeit by a quality team needing to prove a point) it is Scott Parker's post-match comments that have left me reeling! I'll be honest, I have not always agreed with Parker's decisions regarding tactics, selection, transfers (I still can't understand why he pushed Cookie out!) but I am not one for knee-jerk responses. However Parker's increasingly negative comments throughout the summer were making me think that he was preparing for failure and was out to protect his 'reputation' - with one Premiership relegation on his CV he seems desperate to avoid a second one. I know managers may say things to the press to encourage the owners to spend more on new signings but I felt he was being too vociferous at times. Moreover, I found his comments after the game yesterday disrepectful to the club and , in particular, to the players. I felt he was 'leaving them out to dry' and , rather saying that the team would learn from the experience, work hard and come back stronger, he seemed to be confirming how inadequate they are! Great for their confidence!!! Also not showing much loyalty and 'we're in it together' attitude. His response was hugely disappointing. Perhaps the most damning statement was when he said 'This may well happen again this season' (or words to that effect). Does Scott want to be here? Is his job untenable? Both questions will be discussed much in the next few days but I think he owes the players a huge apology for his after match comments. Let's hope we can focus on the next fixture and try to turn things around. UTCIAD.

"Good time to play them or....might see a reaction from them." Understatement of the year, that one. In contrast, the Bournemouth fan who was nervously expecting a reaction from Liverpool knows his football. 🤣 Anyway, one heavy defeat is not the end of the world. The Bournemouth team will have to learn from this and move forward. The next game for you guys is the big test. The same goes for LIverpool as we have to build on that result and put the bad start behind us.

Great job as always, gents. Thanks for all you do. Rough day but still only 3 points lost. The brutal opening schedule is behind us and now we need to channel our inner Hasenhuttl and put this behind us. He's done this twice and stayed up both times...so can we. Obviously work to be done. Let's go get something from Wolves.

Unfortunately, lots of Cherries fans could see this coming a mile off, Sam. We got shouted down for it by some fans. Never warmed to the man. Have always thought he was self centred, arrogant and to be perfectly honest, a bit of an arse. His post match comments slagging of the players just prove my point. The appointment never felt right.

I think Bournemouth haven't spent anywhere near what the other promoted sides have. No ridicule from the Reds fans, we always know Liverpool have this in them and Bournemouth were just on the wrong end. Your GK had no chance with any goals. Have to bin the expansive football and just try and stay compact and not concede. It's gonna be a tough season for you but I wish you all the best.

When you go into the premiership you have to spend ,to survive, unfortunately Bournemouth are not owned by billionaire's like the top teams are.Its going to be a battle to stay up.But the main concern now, is to restore confidence and self belief into this team ,and come back fighting.
