Park skateboarders from around the world are descending on the picturesque Dubai Habour to compete in the World Skateboarding Tour’s Dubai Park 2024 event from 25 February to 3 March. The World Skateboarding Tour (WST) forms a key part of the ‘Road to Paris’ for park and street skateboarders looking to compete at the Olympic Games and WST Dubai Park 2024 stop will mark a critical stage on that journey.

The OQS is a two-part competition series taking place in Shanghai (16-19 May) and Budapest (20-23 June) and will be the settings to determine the final fields for Paris 2024.

Danny was the only skater to not repeat a semi finals run AND landed his perfect run first try, score drops lower on the next run as seen with Gavin getting a lower score on his 3rd Line DESPITE landing the Bs 360 Flip Indy Cleaner the 2nd time. Plus the No 540 rule is present in both street and park now, any rotation above 360 isn't gonna get a boosted score. In fact, i'd argue a 360 landing fakie is HARDER than a 540 landing regular, despite the extra 180.

Gotta be honest I don't like the way the park events are evolving. Helmet and full pads plus everyone just treating it like a vert ramp doing airs and mctwists for the majority of the run. I liked when bowl events were grinds and stalls more traditional bowl skating. This is a vert contest these days.
