Chris, I know you appreciate constructive feedback and feel like you are not yourself when you have a relationship partner on camera. You are busy making sure she is ok and your energy is different. I think that a lot of vloggers should just stay with the format they created success with and that often times doesn't involve or include their partners. You are about motorcycles, adventure travel, the brotherhood of men, etc. Why not just keep things simple and that way. We all know that guys behave differently when we are with our boys. You are kind and generous to include Mary Rose - I won't even comment on your comment that she is a 'mouthful' - but these quiet and shy Filipinas that sit onscreen with their vacuous look just change things. Hope that helps in some way, shape or form.

I kinda have to agree with you on this one mate. If you think about the most successful PH vloggers out there, they are individuals. Some channels start as couples and that is their schtick. They usually have a good chemistry and vibe, are catering to couples travel (that is not what Chris is focused on) but you know the men will never say everything they want out of concern of offending their partner. Others have their relationship partner show up from time to time if at all. Think about Paul, Reekay, Gio, Calvin, etc etc. All on their own. That dynamic just works. Chris admittedly is a bit OCD, lol - no offense Chris, so he needs to focus on us. If I have to be completely honest, the difference in language and culture really shows up in the online world because everything is happening fast. Great feedback.

Stoked for you Chris. I'm a few years older than you, but in a very similar boat, lol. After my 1st trip to Phillipines, I'm sold. Just to be able to sit & share time & conversation with the girls there, was so refreshing. Zero stress, and was always pleasant. Western women lost reality, and forgot most of us men are very simple creatures, that just want peace & fun. As Kevin Samuel's would/did say, all we want is Cooperative, fit, and feminine. Can say that Mary Roses English speaking skills are better than my Filipina wifes English speaking skills who has been living in the US for 12 years, lol. Maybe because she is younger and still used to English from school as my Pinay is older. She does read English very well though. Uuh... Missed one live again, 😭 But I was in hospital for hernia surgery on Tuesday. Was released on Wednesday afternoon. So far ok No biking for now. My poor bike sits there collecting dust,😁

Love that you're keeping it real with comment on bloggers' selling their cred for a little sponsorship money from one specific dating site. It might be a fine site, I have no idea, but I have second-hand embarrassment when I see them flog a site they probably don't even use, and say it's the best. Pea hasn't taken sponsorships, and we can all imagine the truckload of money she's given up to maintain her brand. Sponsorships need to have a natural and genuine sync.
