He’s actually playing. I’m not a fan of John 5 at all. He has good sound. He’s a good player. He’s just bore to watch. When I saw him with Manson he just sort of does the same thing; holds his guitar the way a classical guitarist would, just kind of watches his playing, and looks at the crowd every once in a while .

John 5 recorded the guitars on the new tracks. Mick hasn’t recorded since the late 90’s. DJ Ashba was the player for SOLA even though it’s not plastered everywhere.

Kinda cool to see John 5 so animated up there. Laughing and having a good time.

I'm usually not a fan of bands that have a substitute band member as I prefer seeing the original members unless it's a replacement, but watching the videos of John 5 playing with Motley, I feel like I can't stop smiling. He's killing it! He's already an incredible guitar player and I'm happy I got to see him perform with Rob Zombie but he's definitely doing Mick Mars justice and not to mention he totally fits right in with The Crue. BIG APPLAUSE to John 5 for keeping the bar raised with Motley Crue!

I agree 100% he looks like he’s having a great time. I’ve met him a couple times and he is the nicest most humble rock star I’ve ever met. Now that need to figure something out with Vince. I know he’s lost some weight and he’s doing better than he was before the stadium tour but he’s still awful. Sorry Vince fans.

John 5 is in a different league than Motley Crue. I'm not trying to disparage Mick Mars or Motley Crue. Mick is a great guitar player but he and the rest of Motley Crue are rock stars while John 5 is a technical musician. Of course he can pull it off but it seems like a weird fit to me.

In an era where more and more singers are faking it to backing tapes he is actually singing yes he is not in his prime but I would rather have mediocre live vocals over great sound live tape anyway. I will give him the credit he deserves all day.

The vocals on The Dirt were all tracks. Hell, at one point there were multiple layers of singing and NO ONE was even singing into a mic!

Bigtime and not even mixed well into the mix. They use all sorts of backing tracks these days. During the stadium tour there were a bunch of videos showing Tommy playing off time from the click and exposing the backing tracks.

I was at the show Vince was great! Iv seen a lot of these 80’s bands return to the road and much of the singers have lost there 80’s voice. Vince has managed to keep his pretty close. Vocal cords loosen as you get older and your voice gets lower. Props to Vince. John 5 was great also !

After seeing vince yet again I'm convinced Fat Elvis and his outfits really wasn't so bad, at least he could still sing. Why John 5 took this gig I'm not sure but after watching some of these I'm convinced the lucky one is Mick for not having to be there anymore. Waiting for the next vince misheard lyrics video.

Because of the backing tracks. Did you see Vince wasn't singing any of the their new song (give me the dirt). He's so winded, he can't even pretend to be singing the song correctly. shameful.

Was there at the show 2/10/23, general admission on the floor just behind the VIP peeps. John 5 brought excitement & energy...and he played Mick's parts pretty much note for note to the original. It was great to see. Vince sounded much better than he did on the Stadium Tour. But on "The Dirt," there's some serious lip syncing happening in the chorus. He stops singing but the vocals continue perfectly. See 10:42. Hmmmm.

Vince is looking and sounding a lot better! Of course John 5 always kills it, glad Motley Crue are still touring!
