This was the third time in seven years that a total or annular eclipse crossed the United States mainland, following the total eclipse of August 2017 and the annular eclipse of October 2023. The narrow path of totality-where the Moon covers the Sun completely, causing a total eclipse-ran through Mexico (from Sinaloa to Coahuila), the US (from Texas to Maine), and Canada (from Ontario to Newfoundland). A partial eclipse was visible across nearly all of North America, and a sliver of western Europe.

The LIVE Stream was awesome! I got to see my first Total Solar Eclipse in Waco, Texas. I waited 7 years since I didn't get to see the 2017 eclipse. It was breath taking to see totality. Pictures and videos aren't the same as getting to see the eclipse in-person.

Saw Totality from Potsdam, New York! It was absolutely beautiful 😊
I felt what Anne said when they went back LIVE just shortly after totality in Llano, Texas. It is a breathtaking experience! Also felt heartwarmed when she said all that and that she cried in front of those 1 million people who were watching 💖
WOW! I saw it just before 1500 hrs EDT local time in Gainesville, Florida, when it looked like a quarter-moon. Absolutely stunning and awesome!

I got to see one when I was younger maybe 6 grade in my 70 d now and back then I don't know if it was a full eclipse. But it is neat too see

They only showed these two cities, and San Diego which wasn’t even in the path of totality. I was expecting better.

With so many cities in the path of totality, why would you show San Diego which wasn’t even in the path?? 🤷🏻♂️ That would be ok if this was a partial eclipse only, but come on.
