I got a tattoo gun for Christmas and I've already put a few hours on my thigh. I was wondering what is the purple pen you use to outline beforehand? I searched "purple pen tattooing" and nothing came up. Thank you so much for your help and the great content. Watching you even for a few moments made me that much better.

There's nothing better than that feeling that things are working how you intended halfway through a job, and you just get that buzz that puts you into a confident flow state to finish the rest of the piece.

So true. feels good knowing that.
I love watching your work. I have been tattooing for 15 years off and on, and now I'm getting back into it with Chicano-style realism. There is nothing better than watching a stencil go from a stencil to a beautiful piece of art
Absolutely astounding work brother! I'm pretty much a newbie at airbrushing and it's talent like this that makes me want to continue and flourish at the craft! Now I see why a lot of tattoo artists are good at airbrushing. A great understanding of shading, shadows and such. Love your Tats and look forward to seeing more.
Absolutely awesome technique. Very spot on gradation makes for sick tattoo work. Thanks for teaching people to shade properly with finesse
Oliver, another great piece of art work. You make it look so simple to do. This is what I want to be great at, is black and grey realism. Keep up the amazing work. Stay safe 👍
I also finally tried the pink and purple glide. Both are non petroleum based vegan, oils and vitamins, the pink smells great and is a little bit lighter than green and doesnt junk up needles even after hrs and hrs. Works great. Only down side only comes in 6oz jar instead of 16oz like green. Purple is about the same as pink but smells of lavender. Definitely try them out. U will luv them

Second skin is the best glide out there 👌🏼😎
Holy shit.. This dude is really fucking good! I kept seeing him pop up in my feed talking about tattoo machines and what have you, but this is my first time seeing him work, and I must say, I'm impressed.
Always amazed by you Oliver ❤️❤️❤️.. And yes for sure would like to see the stencil process 🙏🏽
Really cool to see how far tattoo quality has gotten.
watching you working is real FUN .. i don't have enough watching your videos, and i learn a lot from you.. thank you so much for sharing your skills..
Amazing piece brother, keep it up. Continue with the videos as well, they're very informative and a great tool for artists who want to hone their skills and gain knowledge of a few more techniques. Superb piece! 95% of all the tattoos I've ran were in prison where everything was homemade, from the needles, barrels, tips and ink. Using the motor from an electric shaver and a battery pack made from 3 to 4 AA batteries. I'm definitely going to run tattoos when I'm 100% free as I'm at work release right now and unable to tattoo at the moment. I'll be watching your videos trying to soak up as much information and technique as possible until then. Thank you!

I am really so appreciated of your techniques and your professional skills ..and seem like it is not the dirt inks on the skins but it is the best and so perfection realisms images on the skins..that's so amazing and professional skills..all your customers must be appreciated! Keep doing your best👍 ❤️👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful. I learn so much from your video's. Thnx so much 🤗
Your whip shading and technique on the lips is awesome mate
Your attention to detail is what makes this a really nice piece. You’re not rushing through it, or half ass on the details. Or over shading the skin tones. I’ve seen portraits done where the skin on the face of the person in the portrait is too dark. 😬😬😬 Or the artist doesn’t foreshorten and the piece looks out of proportion. This piece is well placed. Thanks again.
I love tour work and really really huge thank for your videos, they're very helpfull rich of details 👍🙏😊
Saturation is when you’re giving a tattoo/picture more vivid color. When you’re trying to give a tattoo/picture more contrast is when you’re giving it deeper black so you can distinguish the darks from the shades better
That's mad skillz bro! Insane skillz! Far out!
Im speechless at this awesome artwork 👍
Muito bom mano, parabéns por dividir seu conhecimento no KZread, sou tatuador iniciante, quero muito aprender a técnica ,parabéns aí irmão sucesso 🙏🔥
I’m finally learning how to tattoo. Being an oil on canvas artist, portraits, I thought it’s time I finally learned how to tattoo. Since I’ve been collecting art on my body for years. Thanks for the video. 🖤

As someone who works with a coil machine it is crazy to see how you rotary users switch needles on those things... so fast and snappy, that luxury must come at a price

This is absolutely beautiful. The eyes are mesmerizing. Do you dip your machine into water before switching shades?? Or is it ok to just pick another shade when the ink runs out?
That’s siiiiick! Need to get in with you ASAP!

Bro!! You fucking killed it. Keep it up homie!!
Super nice. Try n move ur tray on the other side, so the clip cord cover that’s rubbing on the pants u have on. Is being dragged across the beautiful art u created.👊👊
Hey man after following your amazing work I decided to try out Bishop. I currently run Cheyenne Hawk and Cheyenne Unio. My question for you is, do you line with the bishop shader when doing realism pieces? I ordered both the Bishop OG wand and the Bishop Power wand shader. Just curious of what to expect when they arrive. Thanks for these amazing videos bro they are extremely helpful. You are truly a great artist and I would like to hear your opinion.
Looks really good
Ok this great thanks for showing what needles your using.
You inspire me a lot bro
You make it look so easy.

osstiaa en este video me dio 1 gran enseñanza lo mejor bro re pro
Lovely, mate!
OK my question is I'm new so bare with me . I know how to use pressure to build up the tone with strait blck . How are multiple shades used . So would you put down your strait black and say the next shade over is a med tone . Would I put the black down the do a 1/2 cup on that spot . Because i was just building the tone with a light touch .
its just sooo good watching these video's, im mesmerised all the time !!
It would be helpful if artist doing this videos shared which power supply they are using and at which voltage the machine is at.
Do you use a ink mixer when you mix the grey wash or do you use a tooth pic to blend the ink
Thank you ! Nice job!
hey brother what volage do you run your Wand shader at for this job? I am listeting to the motor and it seems like you are around 9-10? you like to run your machine on a higher speed?? Ive noticed that your hand moves pretty fast.. faster then I am... and so I just assume haha... but would love to hear your answer :))) you are a great artist. Much love bro
that shader lines good
Very Nice job and tanks for your tips
Buenisimo bro.saludos de Argentina
Which is better for realistic tattoo black and grey this one or the packer 4.2mm?
Awesome tattoo
Oliver Ayre ROCKS...........
Hey Oliver, I’m looking to get a new machine, I mainly do black and grey. Would this machine (bishop wand shader) be a suitable machine for all around use for both lining and shading? What are the benefits to having all 3 different bishop wands as opposed to just using the one like you are for the whole piece? Thanks man
@grantturner5601
Жыл бұрын
Did you end up getting the shader? If so does it work good for both shading and lining?
did you used just black and white or did you used grey also ?
LOVE IT!!
What volt on the bishop shader you do line work on?
Thanks , very good! ❤️❤️
whats a good voltage for portraits? and needles?
That's dope!!
Hiii really interest in learning how to tattoo and I love your work would u be able to tell me how to keep the stencil from erasing when working on it ? When I try a tattoo the stencil always come off and I lose the whole design ☹️ makes it difficult to continue
@anastasiaculbert5671

You can do a couple things: Blot the stencil after a minute or so- with a wrung out damp paper towel. This get off extra ink, which over is helpful with letting the bottom layer of the stencil settle. - Use Spirit brand stencil paper. It's the best and I won't go back to others. The other ones can fade way too quickly. - be sure to start from the bottom of your design and wipe away from your image.
Amazing!
Is the bishop shader ok for lining as well?
Hey i love your work I watch at least about 3 videos of yours a day to help with my tattooing have you ever tried big wasp shaders and liners I think with your style it would compliment you a lot
What needles are you using for the shading in the face?
amazing work
I like this dudes ink this is like watching a jedi smoke steel with his lightsaber.

You're so fuckin strong bro 👍💪 thanks for your videos 😊
What type of gun do you use and where can I buy one along with the needles
what kind of stencil paper do you use? what brand of carbon paper?
Hi Oliver . I love u'r content so the folowing question is purely out of curiosity. No hate. On this video u got the ink caps on ur left . Every time u refill , u cross with the clipcord over the tatoo. Why not put the ink caps on u'r right so u don't touch the skin? I love this video it is werry educational for me. But that one thing u keep on doing poped in my eyes. 😁
Shading is dope bro u make me wanna tatt watching this 💯🤟🏽🤦🏾♂️😆😆🤣🤣😂🤣🌟🌟🌟🌟
Nice job bro best
Pls greetings from Ghana ( Africa ) . Kindly drop the stencil process
very nice i love it
