Live Sound in a Honky Tonk Bar + Lead Guitar (Live Sound Vlog 5 Pt.2)
Why does it always rain on show day?
Here's pt.2 from my design video where I show the deployment of this system and the curve ball the venue threw at me.
Check out Travis Hunt @treedog24 (drummer for Division Street)

I love that you kept the drumstick flip fail in there @4:56! Classic. I had a drummer who liked to throw his sticks to the crowd and they'd toss them back. Except this one time he it my spin instead of throwing it past me. 😁

You’ll have that sometimes 🤣
Best sound guy named Austin in the whole Mid-Ohio Valley...I guarantee it!!
I loved hearing you play and liked the sound set up info. I never knew it was so technical. I think you look great without your glasses.😍
Great video! Nice to hear you shred

Thanks!
Man, you play like a boss :), band was so much better than the audience though.

Thanks man!
I really get a kick out of small band silent stages with electronic drums, and in ears. Overall it sounds so much better, the audience isn't blasted. Its a win win. I can't wait until this is the norm for small live shows.

I love it. Especially with this drummer, he sends me 8 channels out of his kit so I have all the control I want.

@@arichindustries Im a drummer, thats how I would do it for sure
Great video!
Great content again! Why did you choose the ZLX as Mains over the 12.2s? And what kind of straps are those to tie down the center fill? Thank you!!

The ZLXs have a wider coverage angle than the 12.2s so I was able to cover more of the wings of the stage. The straps are just cheap ratchet straps from tractor supply.

Definitely smaller and lighter! Sometimes I miss the analog days for simplicity though..
