No, you got it perfectly wrong. His logic is perfectly sound and he is extremely detailed and descriptive about everything he says. It's just that he uses it as a substitute for real emotion. You can see how he talks about how things feel to him or what is pleasing to him a whole whole lot. But he always just expresses it in these descriptive terms, he never ever actually shows or expresses the emotions he says he is feeling. You can just tell that he is constantly trying to figure out and analyze what makes him feel something, not realizing that to truly feel something, you actually have to shut out all your analyzing and deconstruction and just try to feel. So again, his logic is perfectly sound, it's his heart that it in SOME (odd) place, wherever exactly that might be.

In that way you could even say, that additionally to providing employment, Conan is even providing therapy to Jordan. Because by now he has actually managed to make him genuinely smile and laugh at times. And you can even tell by the weird contortions he sometimes makes when genuinely laughing that his face doesn't even know how to do that properly. Because he has been stuck in robot mode for who knows how long and basically has to relearn it all over.

Jordan is easily, _easily_ , more entertaining to interview than 99% of Conan's guests

Both Conan and Jordan are extremely intelligent people. I love Jordan's wide breadth and depth of knowledge. It's interesting to see how they both exhibit their intelligence in such contrasting ways.

I agree with you, Conan has an incredible ease of speech, i would kill for being as ingenious as him, but he have to give great lines all the time and that must be sometimes exhausting, on the other hand Jordan doesn't intend to be funny, he just act how it comes to him and he has no pressure. In either case, Aaron and I have a similar sense of humor, and I find just about anything and everything funny. Sure, it might be a defense mechanism from a troubled upbringing, but it's now a fun way to live. There are just so many subtle contexts in life that all seem to connect, and so with all the available premises from your experiences, almost anything can be humorous.

I would like to hear him talk about nutrition. It was a shame he never was allowed to elaborate on anything. I think Aaron sided too much with Conan on this one. They say Conan and Jordan are contrast then Aaron should have been more in-between.

I cannot believe my luck! I was aimlessly strolling through youtube on a long weekend sunday and found this "not yet seen for 50th time" Conan and Jordan gold nugget of an episode. 1 hour . God this is amazing 👏 😂

HOW is Jordan full of so much wisdom! I could listen to him speak all day. Conan provides that necessary comedic relief to counteract Jordan’s intensity, and they have amazing chemistry, but Jordan brings up so many great points, as well as has so much cultural knowledge. Love them both!

I was so disappointed watching this. Conan was cruel and went way beyond trying to make Jordan look like a fool. He wound up making himself look foolish and his suck up host didn't look any better. Conan really let me down. Bravo, to Jordan for handling it with grace. I don't know if I would have.

In fact, he made it to his fame in this way (as many do), which is despicable. I lost respect for Conan here but somehow from prior experience I wasn't surprised. Jordan should retaliate, honestly. This pushover (he isn't, but he gravitated towards it) thing is dumb, it won't help him. In the recent zoom meeting during quarantine, Jordanretaliated savagely against Conan, I'm happy for him.

I love this so much, Jordan’s calmness being mocked as serial killer mannerism, Conan’s comedic remarks and the third wheel is pretty much me

I really love the Conan & Jordon bits but whenever there's a third person involved, the comedic slander looks a lot like bullying!!

@@dancingbanana627 I guess it's considered friendly banter. Where you can be a bit hard on the other as long as you're not ripping into them. Plus if Jordon has problems with some of the jokes Conan pulls, it probably would've been cut out of respect.

It's an improv character based on a caricature/parody of himself... This is improv comedy.... You do understand that someone like Jordan's portrayed character wouldn't be able to be the producer of a comedy show like this, right?

You can tell he exaggerates his personality so that Conan can play off of him. They are both comedic geniuses.

All jokes aside, Jordan could be a good mentor...his depth of intellect is admirable.

Conan you are a part of my life growing up. A friend turned me on to your show and I was hooked... I love your take on things. Your humor is always on the edge. Quite remarkable. Thank you.

I could do another three hours of hearing Jordan and Conan go back and forth 😂

I don't think anyone can keep a stright face like Jordan. He does crack up sometimes but man that guy has nerves of steel

Out of all the souls I've encountered in my travels...Jordan's was the most...human.

I think interviewer's laugh all the time is little humiliating, because even just a talk between the too would be ton of a fun to watch

Nah, Conan's too invested in Jordan as a person, + wheather he actualy does anything o not, but Jordan series should have already paid for his salary. Maybe that's the thing , Conan is actualy so cauculated, that he will make money from you ewen if you do nothing and spend a lot. That is actualy quite impressive

It's an improv character.... Jfc.... Aaron is laughing at the bit. Jordan is the producer of a comedy show, this is an improv act based on a parody of himself... This is obvious... In the Jordan segments they pick the topics of conversation and improv from there, and keep the best bits. It's not rocket science.

Jordan struggles with intellect. He wants to be seen the way you are describing him and Conan picked up on this insecurity. Conan is exposing Jordan’s bullshit (i.e. what is that rant about “corpse” about? He went fishing on that one to try to maintain the image that he is somehow this profound guy, but he’s just as full as shtu as anybody else. That’s what Conan is showing you.

Jordan could have an honest and wildly successful career in acting simply playing a silent character that stares at other characters. It can work in every genre, the stare is THAT SOLID.
