13:11 - Indian people in the comments, this is exactly why I (an Australian law guy) look at your legal system with such curiosity. Because your judges make so many policy decisions that would actually give my judges heart attacks. After all, it is very clear in our principles of judicial review here that _judges_ only adjudicate on legal questions, not the merits of policy decisions.

17:18 - another reason I look at the Indian legal system with such wonder. Because over here, it is unheard of for _bail_ decisions to be handled by the High Court of Australia (our apex court).

Judicial system is corrupt and arrogant, I know a person who bribed judge and judge simply let him go even after crime. Judges go hand in hand with advocates in civil disputes like property disputes and keep dragging it forever like 40 to 50 years it is insanely stupid and corrupt model. In villages in Bharat we already had a system where local village heads can easily moderate and deliver justice free of cost for poor people, but I dont think this system works well now because of ignorant and arrogant people are being encouraged by political system.

The bane of our judicial system is absence of timeline to close hearing. The lawyers and parties keep delaying with endless adjournments, long time to respond and absence granted to advocates and pleaders. No CJI and law minister has ever initiated rigorous guidelines on this. This alone will reduce pendency.

Spend time in judicial reform rather than trying hard to snatch the power of judicial appointments. Judicial independence will go to ruins if executives start appointments like every other institution. There will be sychophants in Supreme court. We need an independent judiciary. The executive must be out if this.

Take away their immunity from malfeasance and public criticism. Impeach and imprison anyone who colours the judgement based on personal agenda or narrative they want to promote. Sir, What is the reform you brought to the law for better performance. I have case in one of the district court with FIR and charge sheet, the court has given me date after one year for next hearing. today, visitation rights are granted to the fathers by the family courts and 80% of the mothers are not following it and fathers are suffering and they need to approach court again by paying money and effort and nothing is happening. Total reformation is required and make both father and mother to abide law and help children to see their parents. I do see total violation and nothing is being done. Please reform the law and put penalty and reform it and penalize the advocates and party those lie to the court and not obeying the court order. People are losing faith in the family courts in India. Huge reforms are required.

We gotta real law minister here who is adamant to reform rusted judiciary. In india justice is sold and which that can't be sold is put to back burner. If you murder you'll get bail as soon as it reaches to right judge and attorney but if you are a victim you will get caught up in the vicious cycle of date till you die. This black coat needs damn washing with lots of water and hard soap. Bureaucracy also needs reforms because bureaucrats still behave like they masters of indian people what British did in past. Nehru once said indian civil service is neither indian nor civil nor a service. This service was designed to exploit and plunder india. This is still happening. 1 trillion dollars are lost every year from GDP because corruption done by bureaucracy.

What is the basis of SC stucking the NJAC. Why should they when they can't give a better proccedure. Who gave authority for them to stuck something which they don't like or should there be logic.
