Weird parallels drawn between western and Indian context reminds me how four blind people described an elephant after touching different parts

But were these four people wrong, is truth subjective or is the truth objective which never changes.

@@adityarathore2036Truth is Subjective, Facts are Objective. And yes those 4 people were wrong, coz 4 different parts aren't enough to paint the whole picture.

Rajdeep’s questions are paragraph in itself and includes a lot of assertions. That might be his style. But it lacks the punch by the time he completes his narrative.

Michael Sandel has deep reflections of liberal politics. After all beeing an extremist in either direction is not the solution formbeeimg a healthy society and for the minors who need to be protected it's important to understand that even stupid people have rights and of course anxiety.

Tech is not disruptive but how it is used make sense because people also got benefited from same Tech. Technology always useful but misuse of it is Problem, for every thing both aspects are always there just similar to medicine which is poison at inappropriate dose. Education about in Appropriate doses needed and need to understand side effects of medicine by society.

Forget all these we don't even have own places of worship. Ask musalman and Christian to give up their own places of worship forget about that. This debate is not released to Indian perspective.

He is selling a neo liberal worldview and keeping up a facade of nationalism or identity just to keep the common folk under control. In this framework religious and ethnic groups are slowly diluted and controlled by the technocrats and will give up their places if the state decides so.

Whole discussion is condescending towards the NON LEFT implying that they r the bad guys which makes the discussion futile coz this condescending attitude is the nub of the problem. . RW could be bad guys in the world but not in India coz hindutvavadis are not same as European American nationalists, hyper nationalists. The OET(Ontology, epistemology, theology) and history of hindu DHARAM(majority Hindus being the oppressed in medieval India) is completely different. Read sai depaks book - INDIA that is bharat and India bharat and Pakistan Pseudoliberals have this tendency to deny any grievance or hurt of majority community and accept non grievances of an ORGANISED AGGRESSIVE MINORITY 'Peaceful' community saying that the majority community cannot be a victim. That will keep polarising the majority. Pseudoliberals r in bed with the peaceful community

One of the most muddled discussions I have heard. Here is a 'woke' Michael Sandel talking about the 'tyranny of merit' and a Rajdeep trying to fit an inverted set of Indian circumstances. Already the Michael Sandel is saying "us". Talk about identity and hubris! All self-labelled.

Totally disagree with the word/identification as "hyper nationalist." It's kind of dumb - one is either a nationalist or not. Similar to one is either in love or not, there is nothing like hyper love... Just ridiculous.

Absolutely wrong! It is obvious that there can be various stages of affection towards a given subject, like a spectrum. That's why words like 'mania' exists. Maybe you are a rare human who runs according to a binary style of thoughts, Anyway, You can disagree....your view being dumb or correct is another matter. However, learn how to express your opinions in a respectful manner.
