Dan Gonzalez works as a Principal Product Manager at iZotope-now-Native Instruments for 7 years. He spearheaded the Product Management of Nectar 4 with huge help from the PIE Team (PIE = Pioneer, Innovate, Expand). He's worked on all of the major flagships in the Music Production 6 over the years including Ozones, Neutrons, Nectars, Vocalsynths and many others. Dan is a graduate from Berklee College of Music and started his career working in Boston at Cakewalk-now-Bandlab. Hello Nectar, thank you for running the video, Q&A! I'm currently shopping music editing software, Nectar come across!. I've use other software but doesn't give me Bluetooth channel feeding from the interface Bluetooth to the software. I just wondering if Nectar has build in Bluetooth channel. I use RodeCaster Pro II, it has Bluetooth channel 7/8 outlet, so NOT SURE if Nectar has input Bluetooth channel 7/8, if anyone can confirm before I make a decision to purchase Nectar 4, and what's package shall I purchase to have this particular needs please. Loves from Australia 🇦🇺

The width control (white slider@24.41mins) is missing from my interface.Should this be showing all the time or do you need to activate some module to get it to show.Can anyone help?

If you're using a mono track, the width slider won't appear. Use a stereo track and it should now show :)

Im waiting for a plugin which makes my voice sound like a proper female singer or a male rapper using ai technology! alot more interesthing then just a pitch/format shifter :)

You can definitely try the Backer module on a lead and see how well it does :) It's definitely possible with some love and care, the real time aspect sacrifices quality a little bit, but hopefully the technology gets better over time
my question was never answered.can you use your own voice as a source in backer.

you can! Just need to record an acapella of yourself, and then add to the custom tab with the "plus" button. That's actually my favorite thing to do with it

just letting you know izotope guys. tested the plugin. its great . exactly what i wanted in nectar. but I probably wont be purchasing it yet i ll wait for the next one because it has too many bugs. when you select register " medium" it gives incorrect pitch always. messes up the audio. and sometimes voices wont load the other presets. only unison and octaves. so i end up restarting it because it wont show me the other presets sometimes. plugin is good when it works. but it does not work properly all the time. right now i will have to go back to nectar 3 because that works perfectly fine and i dont lose any work or time. as a consistent customer of yours i wanted you to know i wont be upgrading because of these reasons.

just fyi, you have to choose the key in the pitch mini-module for the other voices presets to show up. Also does register "medium" give incorrect pitch for actual medium register inputs? If you have a low pitched singer, you'll probably want to set it to "low".

thanks for pointing this out. i already upgraded to nectar 4 btw. but these are important small details real customers (us) should know and for some reason Izotope always forgetting important details which lowers the quality of my experience. exactly what they did with that stutter plugin. these are small but very important details guys. i really think Izotope should start hiring some real testers to test customer experience cause i almost did not upgrade infact i still use nectar 3 mainly. evventhou I upgraded. @@corygoldsmithmusic
