Now I only lack a single Nightmare and I can play with this list 🙏 Curious to know whether if you prefer Rutstein or Woe Strider after you've tested them both for a bit! Imho Rustein is nuts: that couple times you picked back the Mite and cast it for free or the 3 mana Yawg with only 3 lands on the field were crazy to see!

Congrats ! Great deck and tight play ! You didnt face nadu (i know its less played on mtgo than paper), what do you think of a copy or 2 of necromentia in case ? Collector shutting down shuko is enough maybe ? How does this version play vs nadu, u must have faced nadu in testing no ?

Ty! Necromentia is a bad card and I highly recommend not playing it. You're better of playing surgical and trying to hit Nadu after you kill one. Its especially bad vs Nadu since they have acceleration, so you'd need to be on the play with necromentia in your hand + a mana dork + 2 black source lands. Ouphe has been nice! Not just vs Nadu, but also vs Tron & other artifact/ring decks. The Nadu matchup isn't the easiest as they're faster than our deck, so you really need to bring in disruption/removal to slow them down. Hitting Nadu with Surgical is your best bet.

i've been playing with with phyrexian tower in the mana base. It's been good, but like meat said you cant really play it OTD. I've also had flare of malice in my SB for them which has been great. Granted, they get a nadu trigger off of it but you just hope its good enough.

@@meatmtg I would agree with you. I am a former azorius control player in high school. Because of my studies I wasn't able to play much. But I did get one away from top 8ing an rcq. Also, I pretty consitenly 3-1 at events. I just invested in yawg, which has made things even better.

Why not just rent on mtgo? You can play just about any modern deck for ~$60 a month. And then you can change decks whenever you like as well.
