Went to pick up a ebay purchase up near Sleaford so i thought i'd get in a days fishing up near the at the same time, just took the bait i had, groundbait leftovers, few live maggots, dead maggot and a few worms. Lake was speci carp and silvers. Fished 30gm open ended feeder .. ground bait dregs were a bit of red crumb, green crumb, halibut and spicy carp mix which when mixed over powered everything with smell. I thought oh s*** ! It was blowing a shocker so chucked out comfy to about 50m. Had a bite first chuck and a fish a chuck for the rest of the day never waited more than few minutes between bites .. just goes to show, ya never know 👍👍👍✌🤘

Great stuff as always Alan talking about rubbish left on pegs I go to partridge lakes you've fished there before on a charity match on marsh canal I fish the Covey's 5 and 6 mainly and every peg is full of line hooks and weights because they fish the no float rig mainly but it's every peg and dozens of bits of end tackel on every peg it's a mess and it's mainly top fishermen that fish on matches there I am always surprised that they do this or get away with it off the fisheries they should be banned. Good luck with the rest of the years matches and play your fish quicker and you will catch more to qualify. Ha ha ha 🎣💯❤️👍😁

Mighty as ever.. I fished our members only today, caught one roach. Think I took the entire bait Isle with me. Lass turned up with basic stuff and got three large carp...soft hookers...I had them , but never tried em😢 Just goes to show...if they ain't there...

As I understand it the Lakes are now owned by Landal Green Parks. This is published on the Web. So do not understand the reluctance to mention it. Well fished Dave and unlucky Alan. The 2 fish which came of didnt help. I think the Method fish were down Dave's end which didnt help. I must admit it looks an amazing venue. In my Radar for a Club weeks fishing in the next couple of years. Well done guy's.
