My name is Alan Norrish and I have created this channel to help promote fishing and Match fishing in particular. Some of the things you can expect by subscribing to my channel are insights to the world of match fishing. I run a fishing club and we fish 49 weeks of the year visiting 15 or so different wonderful fisheries in Yorkshire. I will be showing you match footage and my approach to these matches throughout the whole year hopefully giving people a bit of knowledge about the fishery we are at. Whether your a top angler or a beginner any kind of information is always a help if you have never fished there before.
Another reason for this channel, even though I have been fishing for over 40 years I have only started match fishing since 2013 and I love it. I invite you to follow me as a average club angler enter the world of match fishing competing on a national level competing against the top boys. A new experience for both you and me. Can't wait.

Used fish Rudyard years ago no feeders then bomb .fill it in ground bait and squats fish 3or4 squats on the hook or a gozzer ,
Have you tried feeding two lines out long at same distance and move between the two?
Well fished Nosh sorry thay did not turn up but you can only do your best and you did so try again well done thight lines.
You need to start trusting in your own tactics, from watching your videos you do better when you do. You are a good angler so believe bro. Kv Durban south Africa

Once went around 1980 s coach. Driver wouldn't go down lane as it was to many trees ,had to walk 2 half miles ,some never made it 😢

Are you in front of the match club, and the white post. 40 + years ago they used to be the pegs. Also they used to be 100+ pegs matches and you could get down all the way to the dam in your car
When your testing is your cam set up on phone to check position ok

Alan, I do love your videos. You come across as a really lovely man, and i especially love your enthusiasm. BUT, i hate it when you make snide remarks regarding Dave woods weight and eating habitats, i appreciate that he does sometimes laugh along with you, but i do see sadness in his face, he is also such a lovely kind man, and i believe a good friend to you, so please just stop the fat shamming. One more thing, its not only guys that fish, us girls also fish, so try saying guys and girls instead of just guys.

I agree with stevehansler regarding the angler to your right casting so close to you peg. He certainly would have had a few comments regarding poaching and peg management. However it was not going to happen to you on the day. I have fished Lake 2A and B and have found the B side the more productive side. Never mind Alan, as you so often say: You can only do your best. Alan i fished the same peg A9 in July and had the same problem as you i had nothing for 4 hours and the lad to the left of me where Adam Richards was fishing ending up winning the section his swim was full of fish. 👍
I’ve always found Carp dominant commercials generally don’t fish well in the morning unless you get a very good draw.

Peg 11 was right to cast where he did mate . Have a look at Prestons Andy Findleys video on that peg and you will see how close you were to him . Great content as always mate
Maybe that’s why I never said anything but if you were sat where I was you wouldn’t have been happy plus more fish were caught to his right turned out alright in the end 👍😀🐒🎣

WD Nosh 55lb didnt seem bad to me from your peg, painful when you see Steve Ringer with 240, its like how the ... anyway it is what it is this is why they are world number 1's etc. Upward and onward. Cant help but think you are overcomplicating things by setting up too many methods. Simplicity stick to one or two methods - bad choice oh well next time. Bomb and tea bag prolly would have been my all day (long island chuck ) method. Ill bet you dont even have any tea bags set up - you sholuld have at least 40 tea bags before any big match in your bait bag, if you like fishing bomb that is.
