That looks good, the 2 younger lads seem to be keen learners which makes things loads easier...
Really love your style of teaching. It’s such a pleasure observing your compassion and deliverance of knowledge. Thanks so much for these videos.
These were my go-to videos when I was working towards my licence 10 years ago. Now, a decade later and with thousands of miles under my belt I still learn loads from Russ and his brilliant uploads. 👍🏻
I find this channel soothing and relaxing it’s the English accent and the quaint English countryside and towns that does it for me … and as a bonus there’s very good riding tips and safety information… thank you 🙏🙂
I wish I had you as my Instructor 25 years ago. You have such a confidence inspiring manner for instructing how to ride without being on edge . Just superb.
When I was learning I struggled to fit in the mirrors, signal, move position in lane for Right Hand Turn, check oncoming traffic, check mirrors, then life saver (over shoulder look behind to make sure no vehicles are overtaking), doing all of that just to turn right.
Been riding for nearly 6 years and these videos always serve as a good reminder/refresher.
riding for decades, and I make sure to pay attention to all the details here. The streets can very quickly turn a beautiful ride into a nightmare. All it takes is a fraction of a second of distraction. If we have a backup plan, if we try to antecipate others moves, giving distance, making sure they understand the situation, we can ride for long years.
Done my CBT October , riding a CBF 125 , Theory test in two weeks then on for the full license. Weather been a bit grim so only knocked up 200 miles but confidence grows .
I've missed these kind of videos. I'm guessing bike tests are back on now? A pity I'm in Leicester.
Another fine video. I really enjoy this type of instruction - I wish it was more common here in the USA. I have trained several times with Eric Trow of Stayin' Safe here; the style is very similar. There is so much to the art of handling a bike in a professional manner that most riders here never see. Not only is it safer, it's a LOT more fun!
I enjoyed that, I am a volunteer instructor next door city to Nottingham. I am down trained and do CBT and 125 training only. Been doing 24 years on and off but never fancied doing DAS as I prefer the newbies. After CBT trainee will have a few 125 lessons until they seem competent enough to ride a bigger bike then I pass them on to a DAS instructor and I start again with the newbie. Always amazes me when trainees look down, wish I had a pound for every time I say keep your head up and plan ahead. You gave a good lesson well done.
Great Lessons 👍
Your commentaries sound so calm, like a golf commentator.
great work keep these videos coming folk :)
Patient and calm. Great instruction. Shame I'm not closer to you. I'd be booking lessons right now.
Ah yes. Memories of last summer. Thoroughly enjoyed doing DAS. Great fun
This brought back memories. Fab video as always 👍
