Hey Joel, thanks for the message. Yes, sorry for the delay on this but I'm working this out with Upserve as of the writing of this comment. Because the reports require credit card data to show what is going on, it's a bit difficult to simulate, but we are working on that now and this new reporting video will be out very soon, so keep an eye out. Thanks Joel.

Can you do some demo on delivery features as well please.

With upserve, are you required to process payments through their processor? Or is this system universal to allow processing through our own relationship based processor?

Hey Tavarus, with Upserve you are required to use their processor, but in this case you really do want to use theirs because by doing so you're able to gather extremely valuable customer insights that you wouldn't be able to gather otherwise. By doing this, you are able to increase your profits in a way that far exceeds the value of using your own processing company. I hope that helps. Cheers.

Great videos! Lets say you have your regulars that come into the bar. Are you able to put a name to a check or even name a seat(big parties)?

Hey Juan, yes absolutely. In fact, your regulars will be in the system already. You will be able to see exactly how much they spend each time they come in, what they order, how much they tip...everything. And yes, you can name a check and also add seat numbers. It does it all.

We are looking for a new POS system in the brewery/food truck I work for. We typically don't use table numbers and instead give customers order numbers and they have a small stand with the number on it that the servers then find. We do this because sometimes there will be 2 or more groups of people at one table because our tables are very large. Do you know if Upserve is capable of working with this process or do you need to use the numbered table system?

Hey ConMan, I'm pretty sure there is a way to work this out the way you need it. You can label the tables whatever you want, but when the servers or whoever enter the order, they should be able to enter the order number via the Quick Serve option or something similar to that so it shows up on the ticket. I'd ask them when you set up a demo, but I'm sure they can work that out.

Hey dave would you be able to do a review of each pos from your top 5 pos systems video? Upserve was the first one but its only for restaurants so if anybody has any other type of business it doesn't do much for them. I've tried to see other videos from their demos and they are all at least 2 years old and they've changed them since then

Hey Javier, sure, I will work on this as best I can. I have a new review/demo coming out soon for Lavu POS, as I like them quite a bit. They are moving into my #2 spot. TouchBistro is being removed and drops out of my top 20, as I do not trust them anymore and do not like the way they treat people. Keep an eye out for the Lavu demo coming out soon. Thanks Javier.

At this time, Upserve is only available in the U.S.

does upserve count your credit card tips automatically when you declare tips? when you clock out?? it asks you how much to claim do you count your cash and cc tips? or just cash only

Hey Elan. I'm using Screenflow in this video, and then I have a studio with a giant green screen set-up behind me.

Are you able to delete orders or is everything done through void?

Hey George, you can delete orders before they go through to the kitchen. After that they have to be voided, which is true of any POS system, but voiding is basically the same thing as deleting, as the item does not show up as sales on the reports. Let me know if that makes sense.
