Gen Z gets a bad rap. I’m 26 and my childhood had PH instead of eye contact. Jonathan Haidt argues in his new book that the rise in anxiety (and other mental illnesses) can be explained by parents being overprotective of their children in the real world and far too underprotective in the virtual world. A large reason for the former is because of a crumbling social cohesion - the community feeling in our neighborhoods went bye bye. It stands to reason that kids raised by spooked and estranged adults become spooked and estranged themselves (ex “stranger danger”)

I’m a big fan of Abigail. Thank you for having her. Jordan Peterson’s interview was unbearable. As usual he started spouting off with his devouring mother crap. Abigail was so diplomatic without indulging his insanity. I was very impressed.
