Todd hands down kills every piece he does. He is one of the greats. Adam was and will always be my Batman ..It will never be the same without him..Thanks for all the joy you brought... R.I.P. caped crusader

No matter how much batman changes over years. We will all have a soft spot for Adam thanks to my mum and dad I grew up with this and the original star trek. And I'm nearly 30

I have to say, this is one my favorite vids you've done. I like that you weren't afraid to show your love and reverence for the character and actor. And on a technique level, I love how you captured the silk-like quality of the cape, cowl, and bib (as you call) of the Adam West Batman. Beautiful drawing. P.S. Keaton and Bale did it for me as a kid and later as an adult. But West will always hold a special place in my heart.

I wish there was a channel of just the live drawings. It's as chill as a Bob Ross video, but with an artist that was deeply meaningful to the last few generations (Grew up on Spawn comics and Movie Maniacs toys) and with style and subjects I'd actually want to use myself.

Really awesome to watch these as an amateur and hobby drawer. Always dreamed of concept art work and building talent but alas, i am just a factory worker. I should try to invest into a nice tablet with perhaps samsung s-pen and try to learn to use drawing application in it.

U can use bucket tool (hold G, select Bucket tool instead of gradient) to fill up selection

Choose the color that you wnna fill with and press >> ( Alt + Delete ) in the keyboard

mac: option (alt) + backspace to fill selection with foreground color. cmd + backspace to fill selection with background color. windows: same, just replace cmd with ctrl.

He's using the lasso tool and then filling it in with a custom short cut he set up. If you look closely you can see the lasso at the pen tip. From what it looks like it's a bit easier to use the lasso tool on the cintiq.

I’m very late to the party, tho I’ve been a fan since his Marvel days, but had no clue until Image. Would b could to see a Christoper Reeves Superman.

I’m pretty sure that he lays down a simple sketch first, and then lowers the opacity and starts a second a layer over top of it. Edit: I just checked, and at 00:53 he says that he did an under-drawing.
