Thank you for the video, I am new to Jetting, very interested in the drain invader X model. Keep up the good work. Love your videos and your company.

Thanks! Indeed, the original DRAIN INVADER and the newer "X" model have really performed well for our customers!
Your videos are awesome I look forward to trying the Knucklehead soon. Thanks for the video

Jetter for a lavatory basin?
can you recommend some Seattle plumbing companies that have your EQ
Thanks for the videos. What is the source of the water in this case? I am having a hard time imagining pulling a jetter hose through a house. Is that what most guys do?

There was one of our Electric-powered mini-Jetters on the floor near me, being fed water from the shower line. However, it is super common to bring a leader-hose thru the house from a larger jetter outside -- in fact a more and more techs are using a "clean hose" (that never sees a sewer) specifically for these applications to carry the high-pressure water from the jetter outside to the jetting-hose to be used inside

How would this drop head knuckle swivel perform in a washer drain trap?

As far as getting through the trap, the Knucklehead is the best I've tried. When the nozzle goes vertical and into the last sharp 90 the knuckles droop which helps it get through. May hang up on some, but I've not found a more consistent head to get through the tough turns
with a knucklehead and a dedicated hose used only for culinary lines, could you remove a kitchen tap and jet clean down through a galvanized water supply pipe found in older homes?
@JETTERSnorthwest
3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about the cross-connection liability, but if the nozzle will fit in the line then you could jet it. However, the nozzle/hose likely will not pass the sharp 90-degree elbows
Grease gun hose is what I prefer… cheap and works great!!!

@@bryanmontgomery4050Do you remove the anti-kink spring on the working end? Looks like it could be a restriction to making tight turns. I found a 60" hose on Amazon, but it has those springs on the ends.
What is the best way to maneuver a 90 degree angle that goes vertically into an rv tank? Thank you.
Any information on the jetter machine you used? Our company is getting many calls for jetting floor drains and our set up cannot get through a trap. What machine did you use to run your setup?

Are you looking at the Drain Invader by chance? They are great for jetting residential p-traps.
I have a 1/4 hose, bought from Amazon, but the tip can not bend and go throught the 90 degree T 1-1/2 inch kitchen sink pipe. how can i redo the tip to make it easy the go throught?

1/4" might be too stiff for getting thru a 90-deg turn in 1.5", but here is a link to the best 1/4" nozzle for drop-tees & traps: shop.jettersnorthwest.com/collections/1-4-jetter-nozzles/products/1-4-drophead-nozzle-w-knuckle-leader-stainless-steel
Will it go through the toilet bowl? Thanks
@JETTERSnorthwest
Жыл бұрын
I've never tried that but I think it would. However, this is a small hose and small nozzle targeted to 3" and smaller lines (best application is 1.5" to 2") so even after getting thru a toilet-trap it's not ideal for cleaning the 4" sewer downstream of the toilet due to the lack of water-flow
I seriously think a portable quite high pressure hose ie with a decent sized tank and a jet trigger controlled nozzle which controlled the psi would be very useful. Where is one or can it be invented?

Would this work for a urinal without taking it off the wall?
@JETTERSnorthwest
10 ай бұрын
Depends on the design of the urinal's flow path; we have customers that do get it thru a urinal's S-trap, but not other types that have the squared-off flow-path, or don't have a good entry-point
@brentcuaz7756

@@JETTERSnorthwest Ya thx works the same with a standard urinal auger!
Would it be good for a urinal?
@JETTERSnorthwest
3 ай бұрын
Urinals are fickle as you know - it depends on the design. If the urinal/drain has a smooth/bending flow-path then the nozzle+hose can typically be worked thru the pipe's curves, but if the urinal has a blocky flow-path then the nozzle likely will hit a "road-block" and you'll have to pull it

God
Man , that’s like using a grenade to move a pebble. Using that inside provides certain risks, hose leaks and even line breaks. Does it work, you bet. I can clear a sink clog in under 5 minutes in nearly all cases. Your set up and break down would take longer.

Thanks for your reply - I hear you - but the message is more about jetting the sewer-line beyond the sink-trap, without having to take the time to disassemble the trap (PS - sorry for our slow reply!)
It literally takes less than 30 seconds to remove the trap with no tools.

I hear you - but the video is really intended to show that the Nozzle and Hose can get through small P-traps -- especially Floor-Drains -- if it can get thru a small sink-trap then it'll get thru other P-traps. Also, many drain-cleaners don't want to disassemble old metal traps as they can fracture when you put the wrenching to them as you know. Sorry for the slow reply - thanks for commenting!

Thanks for your reply - I hear you - but the message is more about jetting the sewer-line beyond the sink-trap, without having to take the time to disassemble the trap. The last time I disassembled an old metal trap it fell apart when i put wrenches to it, so this is a way to avoid adding to the problem while still cleaning the sewer, and cleaning the trap is a bonus
