Ryobi 1900 psi 1.2gpm Pressure washer converted to Electric Jetter | Unclogged Episode 27

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this Video I convert a Ryobi 1900 psi 1.2gpm pressure washer into a Jetter to retrieve my stuck 1/4" cable! The cable was stuck in a drain line and it was wrapped in baby wipes! I use the Ryobi 1900 psi 1.2gpm pressure washer with a pressure washer to jetter conversion kit I bought from amazon a while back for a larger gas pressure washer that I also converted into a jetter and use through outside cleanouts on lines up to 4" its loud and harder to cart around than this small electric Ryobi so i opted to buy the Ryobi pressure washer and give it a try before bringing my bigger cart jetter down. Thankfully The Ryobi only took a few minutes to cut the wipes off my Flex shaft chains and free my cable! I even cleared another lav sink with the jetter just a few feet away, the line was impacted with black sludge and would of been difficult to cable! This Ryobi pressure washer was a great buy!
I also explain how you can couple this pressure washer with a VEVOR camera like I did in this video and if you slightly modify the setup like using a 1/4" or 1/8" hose instead of a 3/8" hose like i did here with a better nozzle you could use this little pressure washer coupled with that VEVOR camera to make you a lot of money without having to invest alot of money.
Thank you so much for watching the video I hope you were helped by the information I provided in some way!
If you liked the video and want to leave me a tip or donate to the channel every dime I receive will be put back into the production of this channel so if you want to see more videos and better production quality this is one way to contribute to making that happen but honestly either way I sincerely appreciate you for taking your time to watch my video!

Just wanted to say thanks for this video. My main is 100ft 4 inch old cast iron that has a few bellies and other faults with it. My gas pw is dead and my main is clogged again after 3 years since last jetted. I found an openbox electric Ryobi PW on OfferUp for $100. Definitely not as strong as the gas but after 4hrs, got my 4in sewer main cleared! I bought a similar jetter kic from Amazon about 3 years ago. Upgraded the hose to 160ft. I just gotta remember to jett that main 2x a year to keep it flowing. The Electric power washer is slow but definitely capable. Thabks again!

Been wanting to start offering some sort of jetting for access to clogged sewer lines for my Home Inspection business. Just goes to show you don't need a whole trailer mounted system to get the job done. Thanks man

@@themayorbnb most drain cleaners consider 4gal 4000 psi basic for 4 inch sewer main will work on 6 inch as well if your patient but 4 gallon is a little low for 6 inch. It's also one of the easiest sizes to get conversion kits for.

Great video. I’ve been looking into getting a small washer to jetter conversion setup like this. Would you say this has enough psi to clean out a grease filled kitchen drain? Or a bigger psi and gpm ryobi would be better.

I bought a hose and nozzle from Amazon I bought the 50 instead of the 100, I would definitely recommend you get the longest length available

I keep hearing you mention the Vevor Camera you use, but can't seem to find any videos on your channel highlighting it, could you share the Model number? Vevor has several cameras for sale, and I want to make sure I buy a decent one, and not a piece of junk! Thanks your videos are great!

I made a half inch steel cored flex shaft kit from home depot for 220$.. 50ft, 30ft, and a 20ft they work amazing 100ft roll of 5/8 flexible electric conduit 2 50' 1/2 in husky drain snakes and 2 50' galvanized winch cable to use as cores.. just sprayed everything down with blasher lithium grease slid them in the sleeves and threaded 2 chains on like a key ring and.. started root busting its flexible enough to run down the washer drain and the back clean outs 2"

I know a guy who was doing the same thing pretty much, I forget where he told me the down side was, I’ll have to ask him. You can order flex shaft cables relatively cheap through Plumber-Tools.com or even on aliexpress directly through China, they’re called transmission cables I believe but there’s a company on AliExpress called Ledfin or something like that, they sell them in whatever length you want and you can order the tube separate which the tube is usually just air tube or brake tube.

Appreciate this video a lot! My side sewer pipe has some grease build up. Would you say this setup has a good chance of dislodging it, or I need a gas pressure washer with 3000+ psi and 2+ gpm to do the trick?

What do you mean by side sewer pipe this pressure washer will unclog pretty much anything up to 2” it can probably even unclog 3-4” but it wouldn’t be able to really clean anything above 2”

@@PlumbingExplained Thanks for the reply. Side sewer pipe as in, the pipe between a house and sewer main that is maintained by the city. So yeah, it'd be around 4" in diameter. It sounds like, 2" diameter is viable, but anything bigger probably no-go. Thank you so much for the reply my dude.

That black camera is the VEVOR camera, yes I bought it off Amazon it works great for a cheap little camera I’ve used it and abused it all year it was only $350 ! I believe they’ve only got the longer ones in stock right now, instead of 50 ft like this one the longer ones are 100ft and they cost $550 I believe. They have built in DVR and are chargeable, the lithium ion batteries stay charged for a very long time.
