    I love all your tutorials but I was struggling so hard with this. For anyone struggling- I have a LIFE CHANGING HACK! Use a knit/crochet swatch to hold your starter rings! Chainmaille jewelry workshop by Karen karon suggested this and it makes it SO EASY. Just stick each of the 4 starter rings into a hole of your crochet piece and tah dah no slipping around or moving. Then just build on those rings following Aussies tutorial!

  • @AussieMaillers

    @AussieMaillers

    The square stainless, the rings were cut by someone else and they don't give out ring ID's. Without pulling it apart I don't know what they actually are as I have just respected their choice not to give them out. The 18SWG in square AA works, so it might work with the stainless but I couldn't be 100% sure. Deb

    It took me a while to realise that picking up your work to admire it " hey, this is going well, looks great and not as hard as I thought" and putting it down without noting which was the working end, was not a good idea :) took me 15 minuted to work out why the heck a ring constantly turned up on the wrong side... ordered some similar pilers too, am fed up with bent chain nose cheapies.

  • @rebekahbrown4052
    @rebekahbrown40522 жыл бұрын

    the most difficult part is the hardest to follow. even stopping the video I cannot see how to start this on the third step. you go too fast repeat steps that don't need repeating and don't repeat the ones that do. I can see the pattern on the video. I just cannot see it when I try to do it
