Fishing in the rain is the best time to fish imop I caught my pb bass 7 pounder in the rain while using a weighted top water and I don’t mind getting wet, also try using slim jim for catfish bait

Try using trot line hooks with live bait, I use them and they work very very well for setting the hook, they almost never get off

We had a big pond on our property in fellsmere Florida when I was growing up that was full of all kinds of fish and my grandfather would throw dog food every night across the water and within minutes fish would be boiling up everywhere. Some good memories just got brought me back for a second, thanks

Y’all afraid to touch the catfish? 😂 I just grab them by the mouth. A lot of fun when you’re noodling for the big boys. Haha man those are good eating. I’d have a hard time throwing them back, I only fish for food though but this channel and Noah’s makes me want to start bass fishing!

I used for live bait is a small blue girl cause I live in Vermont and I hook it through the lips with really in the size hook, and I just let it out, throw it out, learn, let it sit, and I've got decent sized bass with doing that.

When you grab a catfish you need to get them around the fins so you don’t get fined and if you do get fined rub it on the belly of it and it will take the sting away

Haven’t had good luck with circle hooks and live bait for bass. 1/0 to 7/0 bait holders depending on bait size hooks the roof of their mouth with 95% hook-up ratio. Circle hooks are great for catfish though.

Advice: you have to set the hook rly hard not barely pull it

I just got a boat for me and my lady kinda like this one you for fletcher id love to see a video on that setup and how you have it all set up for maximum fishing potential lol I don’t see where you have a trolling motor and what was that hanging off the back a fish finder of the sort or was it a trolling motor but basically what I bought was a Sun Dolphin Sportsman 8.5ft came with a fish finder and a minn Kota endura c2 50lb thrust so yeah I’m curious of what advice you could share fletcher!!!!

No bobber n no weight just let em swim n I'll take 1 n cut the tail off get em bleeding a lil bit n catch some big cats them tilapia would b perfect

Advice? Yes - reel down and SET THE HOOK! HARD!!! Even if the fish had the bait fully in its mouth, you just pulled it out. Yes, you also need a larger circle hook - as well as one with heavier wire.

Fletcher i see youtubers who collab do this all the time. Then they wonder why their videos don’t do better numbers or why they aren’t growing as fast as others. Not saying that’s you, i’m saying I don’t want it to be you. I have already seen this video on noahs channel days ago. If you guys collab it should be you guys helping eachother create different videos for eachothers respective channel. For example if you guys got 2 hours to fish that day instead of both of you uploading each other’s perspectives. First hour is a video for noahs channel second hour is a video for your channel.

why would you use a bass as bait

Same reason they make bass colored baits... big bass will eat smaller bass lol but we decided not to use it

In every southern state I've visited, bass can't be used as bait. I don't know where this was filmed, but it's a possible violation.
