I do the shame groan too. Thought I was alone and a bit "touched in the head" because of it too. So glad I'm not alone.

The absolutely wonderful man Brian Murphy who appears in the audience here around the 4:00 mark is still going strong as I post this. Makes me want to look up the old back catalogue of George & Mildred tbh.

Think we need an updated version of Huw Edwards autobiography....that, or a refund.

Yes it’s definitely fake. I heard his natural laugh slip out on a few panel shows. Then he realises and instantly does his usual fake laugh to correct it.

Me too... don't know why he does it to be honest. I find his comedy terrible too... all scripted and nothing genuinely sharp or whitty. Usually he gets more laughs because of other comedians reactions
