funny you had to say that..Mohini helped the US team to win silver in team, Annia Hatch to win silver in Vault EF and a whole lot of other old gymnasts who won medals..i guess old isn''t a problem after all..

There were visible mistakes in Lobaznyak routine too- including a completely unacceptably long pause before the Arabian. This was cleaner and the deserving gold medalist.

They had far larger wobbles- and an element that included a monumental pause- that took their chances away.

Small ones, that was the difference. No massive pause before a skill and no huge bobbles. That’s how you win gold.

I don't like this routine... to many small mistakes (only excaption: landing)... Kui Yuanyuan is MUCH BETTER than her... but did not get the good fate...

That’s the key- SMALL mistakes. There were no large bobbles and certainly not a huge pause before a skill. That was the difference maker.

@@saragrant9749 I think the long pause before the arabian skill 100% cost Lobaznyuk the gold medal. Which makes sense as that was really the only thing about her routine better than this one, as obviously the leaps are far superior here, the choreography for both is beautiful, the dismount is the same. So she reallly needed to nail and sell that move, which she did well, but an unacceptable long pause going into it.
