👨‍🏫Liu Jingchun 刘景春, famous goldfish master, talks about the history and aesthetics of the King Tigerhead goldfish, or Chinese Lionhead, Chinese Lionchu 王字虎头金鱼.
Mr. Liu, Jingchun 刘景春 (1915-2005) graduated from Peking University in 1940. He has taught History & English since then. Mr. Liu has kept traditional Chinese goldfish for over 60 years. His great contributions include preserving the Red Goosehead goldfish & King Tigerhead goldfish from extinction and publishing a book on Chinse Goldfish Culture《中国金鱼文化》.
In 1994 and 1996, Beijing TV interviewed him twice. The video is a classic documentary and is very popular in the Chinese goldfish community. In memory of Mr. Liu, Jingchun, I proudly translated this video into English to share his goldfish knowledge around the world.
