He failed to lift 223 and since that competition, it's been nothing but gains until he became China's most dominant male lifter today. I found my self so proud of him at the moment. I have no idea why. That was the most unexpected weird feeling. A new Titan being born? A mark in history for sure. Surely it will stand? People say there is always someone better than you out there. They forget to mention moments like this when you become the one that is better and no one else is. So no, there isn't always someone "better". I miss the days of The US and even the UK when our athletes weren't just great runners. Our governments have changed their greatness 60 years ago. They became great at bombing, imprisoning, invading, stealing, murdering, injustice, and hate of one's own people. China is good at those things, but it looks like they are doing far more than putting a new face forward. China is going after hearts and minds. Our governments are so powerful that they simply don't care. China will be next to become something unrecognizable, perhaps sooner than later as they do everything at light speed. But for now, that huge young man just lifted the world - and I'll take it. How does it feel to have been there and what realizations struck you after? You can tell it hit me in my heart. Sports just doesn't do that for me generally but this time it did. Did you grow silver hair after this? Did you hold your breath? Did you spill your drink? Did you call everyone? Did you get to congratulate him and his team or did they keep him isolated from everyone? Thanks you guys great video and I look forward to the next. Are you going to cover the Olympics secretly, privately? Or is that still 100% owned by NBC and held in the tight fist of the Olympic committee? Can you afford to go? It is most certainly a rich persons thing which most people can't afford. What do you think about boycotting the Committee, and world funding a real world games? Just asking after the fact.

Gigachad has drawn the line in the sand. I don’t think Meso is his equal right now (disregarding his injury). Akbar maybe if he gets more used to the new class. It might be that Karapetyan and Tsikhantsou might be more formidable. Garik looked like there’s more than that 185 but for a guy with great pulling power he doesn’t clean very well his elbows are always close to his knees. The powerhouse from Belarus has missed the 225 the last two comps but I know he can do it. Says he’s done 230 in training.

It would be nice if you can improve the way videos are sorted on weightlifting house TV (the app and the website). Right now videos are sorted in a very unpredictable way with no option to resort. This makes it very difficult to find the video I want to watch. I have missed at least two newly posted videos.

A very rude comment by one of the announcers in saying that his strength is, "all he's got". And sorry but that is unacceptable, an apology is in order.

As you go up weight classes the Chinese coaching team slaps your legs and back substantially harder to prep you.
