I’ve been really diggin’ this new “Blue Gc-CM 12” 12-String from ‪@FurchGuitarsOfficial‬ It’s very easy to play for a 12-string and the tone is punchy, well-balanced, and full. I also like that it has a cutaway, which is great for playing this kind of 12-string lead, but also great for when you want to double parts with a high capo to fatten up strumming arrangements in the studio.
For this arrangement of Little Wing, I tuned the 12-string down a whole step, which gives the guitar a slinky, bluesier tone. Some of my favorite 12-string performances were by both Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Blind Willie McTell and Leadbelly are a couple of my other favorite 12-string players.

I think Justin J is the best blues guitarist on the planet today. Whether he's playing a six or twelve string acoustic, an electric, a shovel, a frying pan, a garden hoe, a shotgun, or a strung-up oak tree, he always brings some insanely tasty chops out. I build guitars for a living, and I like to listen to Justin playing on KZread through my workshop iPad. I think Justin's putting some of his mojo into my builds.

Outstanding!!! My favorite Hendrix song. I would not have thought it possible to do it on a twelve string but you nailed it! I really appreciate the way you set the camera to clearly show the fretboard. I’ve flat picked all my life but I’ve recently started fingerpicking. You are a great inspiration to me. Thank you for your videos. I subscribed. 😎👍
