"Little Venice" Of The Cotswolds WALK || Burton On The Water
Today I am in the Cotswolds in Bourton-on-the-Water. Views of stone bridges across the River Windrush, overhanging trees, village green and historic stone cottages is what makes Bourton On The Water one of prettiest villages in England. It is also one of the most popular destinations in the Cotswolds.
Bourton OnThe Water is sometimes referred to as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds’ or 'Little Venice'

I JUST LOVE, THOSE BRIDGES. THE CLEAR CLEAN WINDRUSH RIVER, SELDOM OVERFLOWS, AND NORMALLY , IT IS ONLY 12' TO I4' INCHES DEEP. IT'S LOVELY TO SEE LITTLE KID'S PADDLING SAFELY IN IT, SUPERVISED, AND WITH THEIR PETS SOMETIMES.

Kevin you thank us for watching but WOW, I think it is us that should be thanking you! This video/walk is probably in my top 10 favorites that you've taken us on. (I could never pick my favorite I don't think ). If one took the vehicles out and even with them in it is like stepping back in time to a magical world where beauty is everywhere. The scenery is breathtaking and the homes and building with all that brick are just magnificent! My wish to see these gorgeous places in the Cotswolds , I guess my dream really, is to see, to walk , to smell and to be totally immersed in these surroundings. Thank you so very much! ~~~Jo💞

Thank you so much for this lovely video, you've done a great job. I have a question which I hope you can help with. My wife and I shall be there from October 3rd to 7th, 2022 staying at the Sunny Nest B&B. What I would like to know, which are the best restaurants or pub restaurants to have an evening meal with LIVE MUSIC playing as we eat. This would be the evenings of Oct 3rd-6th. I always find that this would be such useful information on these videos. What can you recommend please? Thank you.

Hi John, Thanks for watching. I feel I would do a disservice if I recommend a place because I just dont know enough about the nightlife or the entertainment there. There is a very good facebook group called the 'Cotswolds'. It is a private group but you can request to join if you can. I think you may find some great suggestions there. Sorry I couldn't help further. Enjoy your time in the Cotswolds 👍

Me neither. It is obviously very early, probably a Sunday morning, the War memorial has it's Poppy Wreaths on display, since November, ( which year ?) but, there's no Autumnal leaves on the ground, and the trees are still loaded. I guess it's about May , the following year? OK-----I'VE JUST SEEN THE DATE OF RECORDING, JUNE--2022. I WASN'T FAR OUT.
