Little update on the General fix the temp gauge, make a console and more on the cummins powered IH
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Little update on the General our International Crew cab with the 5.9 cummins. In this video we fix the temp gauge with a random sender that I found in my toolbox, we then modify an ammo can to work as a console. We then wander the yard and find some arm rests for the General and end it on building the glove box that was missing in the truck.

It was cool to see you in the chat👍 missed most of it so I'm here. You have set aside time for us on this build and it's appreciated 👍
Overall statement here from another enthusiast: WOW. What drive, vision and tenacity to move this large project!!! I'm still watching all the videos on the build. Amazing!!
If you’re trying to make me jealous, it’s working. As a huge fan, I need to remind you to have a beer in the other hand while painting.
Needs a rack in back window with fire sticks 😁😁😁 Thanks Brent👍
The General is looking great...the hard work has paid off!
This build was awesome!! The General has turned out fantastic!!! A truck any truck enthusiast would love to own!!!
I’m so happy to see the general ,we don’t see him watching on the road, the general is wearing coffee ready good idea, thanks man
my dad had an old 47 paneled van that he used an old ammo box for a center console seeing you use one brought back some good memories thank you
That ammo can worked out really great, I like that idea!
Always glad to see the general, getting a little air time. Cool console. Thanks for entertaining us. Looking forward to the next one.
I wish I had a quarter of your talent and skills. Would love to own one like the General. Awesome truck, awesome job building it.
i like the badgeing, truly one of a kind. and the dog.
A military cup holder!!! MINT !!!!!!! Now you are putting the finishing touches on The General! Looking Great !!!
Water boils at 212° F , so your truck gage is spot on as the water you used to test was not boiling anymore !
Nice little touches to finish off “The General” a great build is almost at its end!😖😖😖😖😖😖😖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You are definitely the best in every aspect,,from starting with junk and making something tangible to fit and finish..it's always amazing..Only one other comes close and that is Jonathan W..Thank you so much for the entertainment..Paul in Ohio USA

Hey Brent just finished episode 49 on the General, only a couple left, and I enjoyed all of them. I've also watched some of your other videos, you are very talented, and I like the music...Ralph
Excellent finishing touch to the General!!
Truck looks great, was nice to come home to a General Video. Made a crap day better.
Need some jerry cans behind the stacks. Theme cup holder genius.
Hey Brent, the making of the glove box reminded me of having to make a metal box in shop class many moons ago. You got a passing grade when the teacher filled it with water to make sure it didn’t leak! I remember heating up the soldering irons and doing the seams.
You refreshed a kick ass truck. I like.
Love the fiddle tune..Billy in the Low Ground..which our forefathers brought from the British Isles..
That ammo Box worked Slick..Good Job...That truck is AWESOME.....Great Video Thank You for sharing.....
Who would have thought of that, priceless. Don't forget to take the cups out before opening the lid lol.
Gravity always gets the job done quickly! you can count on it , if it’s harder than heck to get in place it’ll fall right out as soon as you get go of it.🤬 So thanks for sharing another great video with us of the General!👍😎
Hi, love the look of the General. Just binged 15 of the videos and, by the time I finished, I was ready to jump on a plane and come visit! Then I realized the UK is still in lockdown, you probably wouldn't want to sell it and I have no money anyway 😄😷 What I'm saying here is that it is great.😉
Been watching this from the beginning... LOVE IT!!
Love the console. But the only thing I would have done different is to put a top on the glove box so you stuff will not be bouncing out.
The ammo box cup holder/glove box was a great idea,,,this truck just looks fantastic
I'd like to see and hear the truck run.
Great project. I'm going to have to start at episode 1 to get the full benefit of your magic. FYI your music is good for my soul.
Heck of a great idea on the console cup holders!
I was John N’s place yesterday and he couldn’t stop talking about your truck! He really likes it!! 👍

haha and I really dig the one he's working on
I have watched every episode more than once and still can't believe how nice this truck turned out. When you look at the very first picture to the last one, it is amazing. Not to mention the few months that you did it in. This truck should be produced for the masses. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just love your truck. I still say you're a freking artist!
love the craftsmanship! good job!
Great console idea Brent. Thank for sharing another great video with us.
Good to see the 5* Cup holders worked out sweet Glove box making it happen Kool Thanks for sharing.
This is byfar my favorite build you have done to date. At the beginning of this project, I had no idea this beautiful beast would arrive in the end. You should be very proud of this creation, a true work of art. A true master of your trade!
Just luv the look of the General, it's mint.
You did an AWESOME job!!! The GENERAL looks COOL!!!
Thanks for the live chat it was fun. Great work on the truck you did a lot of little things in this video that really added to the truck.
Nice, clean console! Great job and thanks for sharing.
The build was genuinely entertaining and useful - thank you!
Such a work of art! Your vision and talent has done this truck justice! I love it!
I would definitely buy a full size poster of this truck if you decide to make some. A picture of the truck in a field of grass and sunset or something like that. $25 wouldn't be bad price for one. Click thumbs up if you would buy one too.
Sweet. Found this episode enjoyable. Cool stuff. Thanks!
My favorite build of yours by far! Great fun to see. Do more custom crews.
One bad ass ride.enjoyed the trip with you and looking forward to seeing more builds
Pretty cool ammo box to carry the general theme.
Ready and waiting for another awesome episode!! I hit like before I even watched, glad I hit the notification 🔔
Waiting for the official first drive!
No joke just seen this rig in st Pierre and 2 hrs later it pops up on my you tube.... very nice looking well done 👍
Great craftmanship. Love the truck, and your music is good to, peace and blessings from West Virginia
What a Bad ass 1 of a kind truck. Great job Brent!!
Cool finishing touches. 👍👍✌
Glad to see the General back love that truck
As always your fabrication abilities blow My mind
What a project!! Dig the lapse tunes too!
Sweet console, fits awesome with the truck !
That truck is awesome !! Good Job, Mister.
Love the cup holder. Nice install. I saw similar cup holders like that somewhere
*- Nice work. Nice dog. Nice pickup. Nice fabricator.*
Loved the hack on the cup holder from a neat console trick. and the temp sending unit check with the coffee maker. Love all your ideas But most of all we love the General. And those arm rest look dead on origional for a super built truck .Thanks for the videos
Awesome cup holder idea. I’ll be using that one for sure.
Keep going with what you know, because it always works!! Please make cameo appearances of the General every so often in the future, would be cool. Nice idea for the console as well Diggin the tuneage as usual. Thanks for all you do
Looks like you been driving it some.👍
Brent, love your work but I might have put a light in that glove box along with a top so paperwork cant slip out the back. I would for sure paint the inside with a silver paint to make it easier to see or find things since im blind as can be.😖
Good to have you bring back the General...... I like to think you would update us once in a while...... It's a good shop truck...and represent the Halfass Kustoms shop... Hopefully one day you can take us for a ride.....

I am very glad that you haven't blacked the wheels and chrome bits on the truck. I think it looks better with the little touch of brightness on the General
Nice truck Brent.
I thought for sure a Tim Hortons cup would be the sample.

Hiiii Friend !!! no doubt you are A M A S T E R mechanic ARTIST !!!! Best regards !
Good job on the cup holders and one of them is balanced.
Love the build great job
Coffee cups will not miss the target in that Amo Box. 😎👍🇨🇦
Can't wait to bring that case of beer out and see this talent first hand! KZread is lucky, but Manitobans are even luckier to have you to meet at the shows. Can't wait until things open up. Hoping the mothers day swap meet goes this year!

Slick idea Brent! Like it!
I just love what you did with the truck turned out fantastic, I just wish we had the old vehicles in the uk that you all have.
Console lid retention is genius. I use ammo cans for trailer strap stowage and currently have swaged cables thru the handles so i don't lose the lids anymore... after this a bit of welding to one hinge and she's good to go. Thanks!!!!
cant believe you didn't upholster the glove box 😂😂👍 great vid thank you
Great video truck looks great.
Way cool !!! Awesome to see it again !!!
Great another General video. These are my favorite.
Nice the General looking good a job well done ,respect buddy.
Excellent video on International General truck plus camera set up plus arm rests even console for drink plus supplies to even glove box ! On golve box I would put switch to turn light on when use and off too not use ! Also in console what say you may want keep in there is Emergency kit or First Aid box come handy sometimes and be prepared for help someone is hurt at accident scene! Potential control just a (Variable control) for need adjustment in just say this be easier to explain!
Nice work on the General.
EXCELLENT as always
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
What a beautiful truck. Sure wish I had one like that here in Jerusalem.
You may want to ponder the thought of repainting the inside of the glove box to a very light grey. The black paint inside will turn it into a night time black hole.
It's coming along really good I like your console that's something different for sure goes with the truck one little reminder before you open the console make sure there's no liquids in your drinks. 👍👍😀🍵🍵
I would love to see your truck in person. We have a great car show here in August. Hot August nights. I would bet you could be a draw for the event and they would put you a great indoor spot. I am talking about Wichita Kansas. We love our car shows.
As always I enjoy your videos! Top Dog Carona got excited when he heard Pablo barking. I have the same ammo box on my 1964 based dune buggy as a center console but with dune buggy correct custom cover. I like the cup holders built in, but should have incorporated a drip pan underneath.. As always I am concerned about your drink of choice. Nice job! An unexpected good end to my evening.
The this is awesome.great job Please show some footage of it in action 👍
Great job on the little things. Looks like the end is very near.
