I saw him at the Paramount in Huntington NY Summer of 2019. The absolute best show I'd seen in years. The Paramount is a greet venue but Little Steven et-al put on an ABSO-FRIGGiIN-LUTLY fantastic show. Two plus hours of high speed low drag rock, soul AND a bit of funk. Horns , percussion, dancers. Can't wait to see him again.

I keep imagining "Saint Francis" or "Tongue of the Angles" with this band live. Would be amazing!!!

me too - seen them 4 times including the first reunion concert at midnight at the Indigo O2 in London (and the Macca one at Roundhouse London). Rather unlikely to be this year though

Wow. An actual political song with depth, maturity and a message...but is still fun, rocks and one hell of a tune! Too bad almost all modern music from new bands and musicians are manufactured crap churned out by record companies to do precisely what Stevie sings about in this song: keep us distracted and thinking about sex, partying and getting rich whilst our elite continue entrenching themselves. It's a good job we still have the old hippies from the 60s and 70s keeping us honest! And as a 30 year old, I couldn't be more grateful!
