She’s not underrated by they who know of her. I discovered her on Later With Jools Holland. I’m a music fan, I like to think a discerning one. Authentic quality is authentic quality. Many do not discern what is authentic from ephemeral pop. If she’s underrated, it’s by they who cannot recognise how truly masterful she is. By the way, I’m a 59 year old man, she’s probably not aiming at my demographic, but I love her music. Her melodies are sublimely soulful, something of another time. Beautiful.

Grammys only like songs that give messages out they agree with :/ keep people distracted from real things going on.

She reminds me of Nas - in terms of lyrical genius and the music production - but she is even faster flowing...Amazing. She should be huge and up their with the likes of Tupac, Snoop, Dre, Eminem.etc. Hope she gets more recognition outside the UK. The fact she plays bass, guitar and piano really well is the icing on the cake to be honest. Let's hope she is around for many years to come.

I love Little Simz flow ...and her subject content....it means something, so much significance and she's consciously rapping about the struggle. I'm 68 years old and the times seem to repeat itself. Her LP reminds me of Marvin Gaye's album "What's Going On" back in 1969. I pray God continue blessing you in life and thru your journey.

You took the words right out of my soul. These past 1.5 years weren't about finding out that introversion was the only way so many of us could cope with the pain. The way we can all heal collectively is by each of us finding the strength from deep inside us and sharing it with each other, and then form a force so strong that nothing can break past it.

I can't get over how incredible this song is in every aspect. The production is immaculate, the lyrics are consistently sharp and hard-hitting, the beat transition is perfect, and the small musical flourishes added by the symphony make it so you hear something new in the instrumental every time you listen. This is probably my favorite opening track from any album in the last decade and, while the rest of the album is also great, it almost suffers from how big of an impression the opening track makes.

honestly fully agree, nothing in the rest of the album even really comes close to this in production quality and really just...quality in general. its still a good album but but this track is on a whole other level
