@@THEDONSTR8Fightah76 .....it's the 1,000 and 5,000 watts kleg lights' energized photons bombarding everything below from the above Set Stage Lighting that's making him sweat so profusely. Plus, the wool/felt/ leather (I can't tell really) tasseled top...and the entire suit I believe ain't helping matters much either.... The stage lights and that suit is responsible for making him sweat Bullets'!!!.... And, did you see him run around the studio audience screaming like a big 'ol 'Queen' (you know he doesn't care) .....Very Brave and Daring Do.... The audience is like..?.OMG!?!.... miraculously enough out of respect nobody laughs...... Just a few mumrnurs and twitters..... Much forward thinking from Little Richard, (because of the very fact that he's letting the audience in the studio know and the audience at home that it's not all about him.... But , still in a harsh reality sense ......it really is all about him. He catapulted famous artists into stardom and didn't get the credit or recognition for it because of the powers that be were in control of the media back in the day), himself per se...... He utilized his talents, stayed focused, applied himself, then grabbed the people he cared about , that were around him at the time propped them up, took care of them and dragged them along with him on his coattails,... which the end result made them into stars in their own right.....and I should also say congrats to Dick Cavett's audience. Bravo everybody. And... Dick too!....throughout the entire interview he doesn't bat an eyelash and manages to maintain his composure the whole time ......agsin BRAVO I Say!!

How he loved and lived and acted. Man, he just doesn’t get enough credit; not as enough as he should. He’s right, he always way; he truly built this genre. Thank you for living as you did, and what you showed and represented to a whole society.

This point in music history; Little Richard on Dick Cavett show, December 1970-- After some success with then-new material from Fats Domino (having a hit single of The Beatles' "Lady Madonna" in 1968), Reprise Records also signed Little Richard to make a few 'modern-sounding' original albums. Where Fats only had an updated sound, Little Richard had completely evolved into a 'modern rocker'. Everything from his music and looks to his outrageous charisma was turned up to 11. This change was at the start of theatrical and glam rock. Many bands that went glam by 1972 were already recording and trying to find their identities, so Richard was well ahead of the game. At the time of this interview, Little Richard was touring his first Reprise album "The Rill Thing", and working on his next LP "The King Of Rock And Roll". ALL of his Reprise LPs are soulful, rocking, DEEPLY funky, gritty, bluesy and entertaining, from start to finish. Let's hope for remasters of Little Richard's Reprise albums!!!!

Cavett did a brilliant job. Witty. Funny. Little Richard was really a very sweet person in a tough business. The other guy was very relaxed and dealt with this with great style.

Cavett didn't seem to enjoy Richard's unique personality, but then again... was there someone he actually liked? 😐 Little Richard was a true Rock Star.❤
