The original copyright would be 1950 but I think with barcodes your books would be much later than that.
Thank you. I too want to preserve the golden seal. Just made one for my
I am so glad to find this tutorial. I love the idea of LGB journals but hated to lose the original look. I just knew someone would figure this out for me!! Thank you!! New subscriber now!
I Use a hot air gun to remove the golden spine then on the signatures to loosen the glue.
Great projects share and great video and tfs 🌸
Hi! Thanks for the video. I also have videos showing how I do LGBs. I remove the trim with a heat gun to keep it in tact and the glue it back on. Such a cute story, haven’t seen this one
Pokey Little puppy was my oldest daughter’s favorite book
It has a UPC code so it's not vintage, per se, it is a reprint from after sometime in the 1970s when they started to use UPC's.
Great tutorial for your subbies!!😊. Thanks so much. Blessings from Betty in Ohio. (A year late😁).
I have been wanting to make one but have never made a journal before
i am new to your channel and so excited to add another JJ Junkie to my list! Love your ideas!
New subscriber. I absolutely love this. I just finished my first couple. Love the ideas I got from yours. Tyfs
I don't think there were barcodes in 1950. I do like the way you preserve the original spine because so many journal-makers cut the covers and lose so much.
I can’t believe the books are from 1950 because there are bar codes on the books!
I have some older LGBs but the cover has barcode, which makes me wonder if someone substituted the cover because bar codes were around in the 1950s, I don’t think. Thoughts?
Just an FYI, I know your book says 1950, but barcodes on the front , lets you know that it was actually published after the 1970's.....
Have you ever messed up the spine but used it anyway. I’m new to this just trying to figure it out 😄😄
I have thought about doing one of these. Nice project. They’re hard to find here
I am commenting as I watch, LOL. I also like to preserve as much as the book also!!!!!! I cannot cut fabric straight, how do you do that? 😂
What’s the name of the tape
