    The original copyright would be 1950 but I think with barcodes your books would be much later than that.

    I am so glad to find this tutorial. I love the idea of LGB journals but hated to lose the original look. I just knew someone would figure this out for me!! Thank you!! New subscriber now!

    I Use a hot air gun to remove the golden spine then on the signatures to loosen the glue.

    Hi! Thanks for the video. I also have videos showing how I do LGBs. I remove the trim with a heat gun to keep it in tact and the glue it back on. Such a cute story, haven’t seen this one

    It has a UPC code so it's not vintage, per se, it is a reprint from after sometime in the 1970s when they started to use UPC's.

    I don't think there were barcodes in 1950. I do like the way you preserve the original spine because so many journal-makers cut the covers and lose so much.

    I have some older LGBs but the cover has barcode, which makes me wonder if someone substituted the cover because bar codes were around in the 1950s, I don’t think. Thoughts?

    Just an FYI, I know your book says 1950, but barcodes on the front , lets you know that it was actually published after the 1970's.....
