You know, this is the song that inspired me to buy a banjo. Found a cheapo RB20 on craigslist that came with with a bunch of stuff. Picking that up and learning with it saved me from a chick I really needed to dump. There's better shit in life than that loser. Can't play much yet, but I am practicing every day. You're an inspiration, man.

@@vinzclortho486 Actually yeah, still playing. I have done a lot of growing in the last few years. I am happily single with great friends and a good deal more banjo skill than I used to have. Flourishing in my power.

He's inspired me to play Banjo too but I haven't been able to get one yet
At the time of writing this, I’m only 18, but still in high school, been trapped in the same area for my entire life, switching schools every couple of years, it sucks ass, the only thing I’ve found comfort in is being on the road, leaving this godforsaken shithole of a state I live in is the only way for me to be truly happy, because the only good consistent thing is change, and I’ve been stuck without change for too long. I plan on leaving soon, and I know it’ll be for the better, but every time I hear this amazing fucking masterpiece of a song, it nearly brings a fucking tear to my eye because of how much it makes me want to pack up and just leave. Thank you so much for blessing the world with this, hope you’ve been able to wander.

If you wait to long you will get stuck in your hometown, I Travelled and let me tell you first off get a nice hiking Backpack and sleep roll/Sleeping bag or even better a Hammock, All you need is two trees and that takes about 5-8 pounds off your back. The first few days you will want to turn back and there will be times you miss your family and friends back home but once you come back to visit the vines start growing up your legs again trying to root you in place. Also know where every Soup kitchen is in the town you get to so you can eat and grab meals to go. Stick to Beer and Weed (Maybe a trip here and there on LSD Molly) but never use Opiates or Meth because BOOM you get stuck just as easily as before you left town. Just some tips for an Ex Gypsy....Tough life and it is romanticized a whole lot by people but it isn't easy especially with no money!.

I literally can’t start my day every single day without this song
Lyrics for this absolute banger. Well I wrote this song to myself Remind me never to go back home Cos while I'm sitting here resting my bones I'll forever miss that open road (ooh) Wanderin', I should be out wanderin Bouncin' from town to town Wanderin I should be out wanderin I'd always rather be roamin around While it seems so perfectly familiar I think that's a reason to leave Because the longer I stay put The more trouble there may be Oh wanderin I should be out wanderin I should be bouncin from town to town Wanderin I should be out wanderin I'd always rather be roamin around And I knew when I got home that there'd be nothing left for me Since dad's not home And mom don't want me There's nothin left dontcha see I fucked myself there's bills to pay I'm thinking Of cleaning up Get a job and a place for my dog for a little bit Cos busking isn't enough Oh these snobby rich kids in suburban homes (In the south?) the won't pay my bills So I'll sit in the cold for a few winter months Hoping that I don't grow ill Oh wanderin I should be out wanderin I should be on a train headed south Wanderin Oh wanderin Oh why the fuck am I still in this town? Wanderin Wanderin Oh wanderin wanderin Wanderin (sorry if I got anything wrong)

Check in with us soon buddy, I keep losing so many people I consider friends even when I never met them. I know we would click, I used to travel......Hell it's in the song, "hoping that I won't grow ill" THAT is what stopped me from being on the open road, I would be blind if I didn't get medical help, But I still live vicariously through you all!.

Bro this is so good 🙌🏽🔥‼️✨ hope all is well homie , keep shining brotha 💎✨
Hometowns are just traps. I married a man who escaped his into mine and now I'm stuck raising our kids in the same shithole, falling into the same traps, looking at the same damn potholes. Fuck.
Diggin’ it!
While hometowns can indeed make bad homes sometimes they're exactly where you need to be. Personally speaking anyways. You do you. I'll do me, and hopefully we can meet again somewhere along the way
would you mind sharing the tabs for this?
