More snags than a particular hardware chain entrance. I think the free net was balanced by the lure deficit. Just watching the sun come up and the still river was lovely. Thanks for another great vid Josh.

Yeah I seem to find the fish like to go more out of there comfort zone in the dirt water. I don’t like it clear but I don’t like it fully brown either. Just a coffee colour is perfect👌🏼

I love how you don’t just show you catching fish, because with fishing there is always complications on the way if you get snagged lose fish etc absolutely honest bloke love the content you bring out no fishing trip ever goes perfect but even with all the hardship still a successful day in my eyes!

Agreed. It's a part of fishing to get snagged, have complications with your line, etc. Not a lot of vids on youtube show it but it happens to experienced fisherman and beginners alike.

When I fish snaggy areas mate I mostly use offset worm hooks and a ball sinker . I find that they are heaps less a chance to snag . 🎣👍 Great clip J .

Wow looks a stunning morning at the start there! Love the sounds of nature too, the birds and the sounds of you walking in the grass, we're so lucky to have such amazing nature and landscape! Yeah was cool you were able to go on that private property there! Heck though, just glad you're ok after the floods! Dang some of those casts weren't so good! Still looks a lot of mud and silt there after the floods, could be lots of off tree branches under the surface too! Ah around the tree a million times, well Josh off for a swim to get it! Haha! Ooo he's a lucky lad! Yeah cool job!

My last session was ridiculously snaggy too, lost two brand new lures and a soft plastic.. but I didn't catch a single fish. Great content as always man.

Good to see you back and getting a couple of nice sized flatties. 😀 There certainly must have been some water through that area when you can see the debris up the trees so take care mate, the banks will be a bit on the slippery side. The tangles reminded me of our recent yarns and I've got the old gear we discussed ready for you and I previously sent you my number for you to text me a mailing address. Nice little bonus with the found net. Surprising what will turn up as the water levels will drop. Keep well mate.

Expensive session with all those snags Josh, but well worth it for the big flattie!! No doubt the recents flooding has dumped a bundle of stuff along the systems. Awesome filming and editing too Josh! Already looking forward to your next video mate!

Great vid Josh, I've tryed those weedless Hooks/Rigs before, it knocks out all the Small fish, all my PBs have been caught on those rigs, just can be hard on a slow fishing day, love the content Josh, well done mate.

Those knots develop from winding on slack line, easy done when working lures. I started making my own lures because of days like that, turns out I hate losing them more than mass produced lures.

Feel your pain with the snags mate, haha. Lucky you got the bent minnow back but! You should try (or do a video on) the Tiemco (or atomic) cicada surface lures. On a still day like that the action on those things is insane and the bream can't help but smash them. Looking forward to the next vid mate.

its been raining heaps bad up on the coast, can't fish in any of the rivers because its all fresh water
