I'm from Nicaragua and I have never been to that part of the country. My mom has. Very beautiful. And most people are very nice. My neighborhood close to Managua, the capital of Nicaragua looked a lot like that when I was a kid 😁.I didn't know these people spoke English so well. I know that they speak Spanish, French and dialects. I learned something new today. Thanks!

Most Nicaragua from main land Managua like 89% never been to the Caribbean of Nicaragua and if you left Managua or the county very young then that is why you didn’t much 😊

What part of Nicaragua are you from?

Loved the dancers, it looked like every movement had a meaning to it like the Hawaiians. There was a story being told.

Ace go to Masaya, and dance to our Marimba music (the marimba was brought here by our African ancestors)

In the Atlantic coast yes. It's like a different country in that part. I'm from Nicaragua, but I'm from the pacific side, so I don't know the area. 😅

I swear to GOD, just before you asked the question: "Could you live here, indefinitely?", I was like: "I could SO live there!" Incredible! @Ace you go places that the average person wouldn't go on their own. This video kinda reminded me of my childhood when people were connected to their community and each other in the south, when there were still gravel roads and dirt roads. @Ace The black Anthony Bourdain, but with a much friendlier attitude.

There are some rural neighborhoods in Jamaica that look just like this. I’m figuring these people are descendants of Jamaicans who helped build the Panama Canal, who just stayed in Central America. They have the Jamaican lilt as well.
