Lithuanian music - Donis ir Rasa Serra - Bite lingo

Музыка

Nuostabi pagoniškos Lietuvos laikų daina "Bite lingo". Atlieka - Rasa Serra, muzika - Donis. Visi vaizdai nufotografuoti mano (pagrinde Aukštaitijos NP, Kėdainių rajonas, Panemuniai, Biržų rajonas)
Eilės (apytikslės):
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, bitė lingo, bitė linago...
Kas sustabdė lauke vėjy?
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, bitė stabdė lauke vėjy.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, kol ieškojo savo mielo.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, bitinėlio medų rada.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, raste rada, nesurada.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, visos trana sugeluotos.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, saldų medų sumirkytos.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, kas sustabdė lauke raitus?
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, sejė stabdė lauke raitus.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, kol ieškojo savo mielo.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, broliutėlio begų (?) rada.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, broliutėlio begų (?) rada.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, raste rada, nesurada.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, visas kario sukapotas.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, juodu krauju sumirkytas.
Sejė lingo, sejė linago, juodu krauju sumirkytas.
Bitė lingo, bitė linago, sejė lingo, sejė linago...

Tegul ši daina visiems primins pagonybės laikus, kai mes buvom stiprūs ir neištižę. Daugiau tokių dainų ir tie laikai grįš.

Трудно сказать: эта песня очень символическая и в старолитовском языке. Что-то про пчёлку которая летала в сильный ветер и нашла мёртвого война в луже черного крови.

this is beautiful, I love it and I'm gonna find that album.... I want to know this language-being half Lithuanian, my mom being full Lithuanian second generation American I know enough to understand some basics BUT I want to know what she is saying/singing! Please some one tell me where I can find the words even if they're not translated please I want to know my history!

@senosdienos Well, Slavic (especially eastern) languages are the product of Baltic and Scythian mix plus later influence from Finougric and Tiurkic languages. No wonder all modern linguists group Baltic & Slavic languages to one Baltoslavic family.

There is no rain in this song. But yes she is singing about bee, actually female bee (in the first half of the song). The bee is searching for her husband or brother (male bee). And the second half of the song is about a sister who is searching for her brother. He was at war.

great album. along with "sotvaras" it can attract people from abroad to lithuanian folk culture. just one question: is the song itself of prussian or lithuanian origins?

@allyoneverstone Hi! I added lyrics to the description. But they are very difficult to understand because of archaic language and metaphoric style. The main song's idea is that a bee is seaching her lover but find he's dead and a girl (a "sister") is searching her boyfriend and he's also dead in a war. That's a little pity what Lithuanian folk songs are mostly only about war, death or beer while other nations sung about God and love. But well, that's the Lithuanian history, eternal war =/

@MykeSoBe Artist name: Donis Album: Bite lingo Although Donis is only music composer and vocal is of Rasa Serra. Believe me, whole album is worth to listen. Also, you can try our "oficial" pagan band Kūlgrinda. If you have any troubles to get Lithuanian music or want any recommendations write PM. I will gladly help :)

Catholicism is semitic not Indo-European thing. But otherwise, all religions has the same nature - all came from cult of sky. But some "superior" religions deny that and made a pittyful man as a god.
