Every member of LT national team was an expert at his position, and radiated full confidence against anybody. A pleasure to watch. Gasol very young in this, but still you can see how skilful a player he is.

2003-2004 was the best Lithuanian lineup ever

I much respect Lithuanians in basketball. They've always had great team. I think they could have a better standing in WC 2019.

@@Akillian1 Well, Spain had payed referees, that's well-known. They are undeserved champions. France played terrible and won bronze. Australia has been drastically damaged by the payed referees. Even game Serbia - Spain, big robbery. Serbia led by 9 and referees had to react.

Para mi gusto el mejor quitento que ha tenido España a lo largo de su historia: José Manuel Calderón, Juan Carlos Navarro, Carlos Jiménez, Jorge Garbajosa y Pau Gasol. Desde luego me gusta cómo juegan Ricky, Sergio Rodríguez, Rudy Fernández, Felipe Reyes, Marc Gasol y tantos otros, pero para mí este quinteto es especial porque la cantidad de talento tanto ofensivo como defensivo creo que nunca se ha llegado a igualar.

Totalmente, es el mejor quinteto y con el q empezó todo en Japón 2006, simplemente en este año todavía quedaba madurar un poco cada uno.

En Atenas hubo una espinita clavada debido al desafortunado cruce de cuartos de final. Aunque haber perdido y tropezado en campeonatos como los de 2007, 2010, 2013 o 2014 o 2017 hace saber perder y proporciona experiencia, sabiduría y tablas. Todos nos referimos al mundial 2006 como el comienzo de los éxitos, pero me gusta siempre irme a las olimpiadas de Atenas y al Eurobasket 2005 (Una canasta de Nowitki nos chafa la fiesta) son "tropiezos" que empiezan a doler por ser conscientes del potencial del equipo.
