So since independence and with all these "lawyers" and "public interest" groups, ghana law does not protect Ghanaian interests? ..... pathetic

When they take the mining contracts, they don't pay the workers well..... so which one is the benefit to the indigenous you're talking of??? Foreigners even pay good money and also have good safety measures.

We need to change our mining laws. We have to go the Mexican way. All mineral deposits we designate as strategic must be 100% owned by the Ghana government. All companies and individuals (local and foreign) should do the extraction and processing as our employees. I see no reason why companies like Anglogold and Newmont should not work for us as employees under a management contract. That means the government should be prepared to invest money in these operations.

Deuteronomy 28:33, 43-46. Yet people shall not believe as if it nullifies what is written. Surely, what is written is written and shall come to pass. When would Jacob / Israelites wake up? Shalom
