The person whose locs stopped a bullet was Rita Marley, Bob's wife, not Bob himself. He ended up getting grazed across the chest while a bullet got lodged into his arm.
No he's the actor is not related to the Marleys!
Will they mention the fact his Dad was a White British Navy Officer? I doubt it. I love Bob, but it should be mentioned

@@overthewebb I meant more that they mention his dad leaving him more than what his race/ethnicity was. I enjoyed the movie a lot so I would recommend :)
