That chugging is a beautiful thing.It means you can refrigerate, you can pump water, you can cut wood, you can have light.One question though, why the old Lister for this?Easier to take apart and clean out the tar?As well as no electronics I suppose.

They built electronics to create and time a spark plug added to the engine to ignite the gas. I have heard of others being able to auto ignite the wood gas by increasing compression.
