I just realised that as well. BTS really gathered people who share the same values and experiences. Without BTS, I couldn't have discovered this world so I'm very thankful that I got into them and meet (not personally but you know) co-ARMYs and just know that we both have that similarity that we're supporting BTS as well as each other. i want to die, but i cant. i have to see bts grow even more. i have to see their last album, their last poster, their last speech, their last run episode, their last tour, their last show, their last tear, their last laugh, their last memory, their last army. i want to be here until the end. bts says that we are forever, and i am going to listen to them. i hope, i hope, i hope just to see them once. for a split second. far away or close, i want to see the boys that made me stay. i need them. the seven boys that changed my life, continued my life, are the ones i can’t live without. i will leave anything for them, i just want them. we need them. they have no idea how many people they saved. how many bodies that are still walking, with earbuds in listening to their voices. as i’m writing this, tears are just streaming down my face. even my best friend, told me that i have been happier with them. she’s noticed. if i could see them just *once* my life will me complete, and it is not just for me, but for others. many, millions of others. the biggest band of the world will always be the biggest thing in my heart. i purple you. EDIT: hey again, i wanna say that recently i’ve been in a good place. i’ve felt confident and happy, which i haven’t felt in about three years. i just got out of a relationship that made me realize that i haven’t been thinking about my own self worth, and i’m proud of myself for realizing that. my music taste had changed, but i cant bring myself to completely stop listening to bts or taking down my posters and plushes in my room. bts had made me realize that they are there to push me forward, and not to stay where i am at. sometimes i feel guilty for not listening to them as much, but i realize this is the part of me growing as a person. i could never forget them and what they have done for me, and i wish to be able to tell them how much they have helped me through this journey of finding myself. i love you all for replying, and also helping me find who i am. i realize even if i don’t interact with bts as much, they will still love me and push me forward. i still smile every time one of their songs pop up in my playlist. remember that i truly love you all, even though i’ve never met you. every single one of you have given me the words to keep going. and i’m here, breathing, laughing, living. i’m meeting amazing people and they are helping me as well. i’ve finally found myself. thank you. 3/31/21

bts saved me when i was only 11 years old. i was sitting on a windowsill, about to jump. i was in pain, not loving myself nor others. i had too much weight on my shoulders. and then i remembered, i havent gone to a bts concert. i havent thanked them in person. i didnt jump that day, and though i have tried many more times, bts still manages to save me. save all of us. i know in quarantine we are all a bit depressed, but please, spend time watching run, old vlives, funny moments on youtube. cry a lot with bts at night, and laugh with them during the day. love yourself. because youre worth it. to anyone whos gone through the same thing, bts will always stay with you. army will always stay with you. i believe in you.

Yeah I’ve literally never felt depressed in my entire life just sad. So when I started crying for no reason, stopped eating well, and was sad all the time that’s when it hit me that quarantine rlly made me depressed and it’s hard for me to get out of this state of mind. School isn’t necessarily helping that either oof but I’ve never thought about ending it I’m just rlly sad... for absolutely no reason I just don’t know how to explain the feeling it’s just rlly empty. But I hope that everything goes back to normal one day... soon I wanna be able to see the boys in person and I hope everyone can at some point

My mom died when I was a year old. When 2014 started, I was 7 or 8 I think, and the realization that my mom was never coming back hit me, BTS got me through it, the first song was boy in Luv, with was such a good song. Then I slowly let the band and genre of music consume me, now here I am, 6 years later. Remembering the times when bts has saved my life. Edit: thank you guys for the likes and support, she’s in a better place now

There's alot of people who have talked about how BTS has changed there life, helped them through dark places. I love BTS I really do, but they didn't change my life... ARMY's did. There are so many people who have come together to love and cherish something where all equally proud of...our Boys. Some time of the best people I have ever met was through BTS. When my family and friends turned there back on me, I could turn to the support of my fellow ARMY. You guys mean everything to me. We're a huge family with so many different background. When I said BTS hasn't changed my life, I liked they have. There music has brought me joy and pain, but I know it's a fantasy to believe one day I'll meet BTS. But I can meet ARMY. No matter where your from, or who you are...your my family and I purple you. Being a part of this fandom has been one of the best things in my life. I know one day when BTS is long gone, the world will see them as a forgotten boy band who took over the industry. But us ARMY will always remember the joy they brought us. We will remember the meaning behind the color purple, and smile. They will live on forever in our hearts. With this fandom, we will be Young Forever. We're not just a fandom... BTS save my life,they pulled me out of a really dark place.A place that is really scary and I hate thinking about it.They give me light and make me smile.They also help me so much with my anxiety, I would be in tears and I would just listen to there music and would stop crying. They also help me lose weight and find a healthy living style. They showed me self love and saying to be proud of your name.Thank you BTS for being there when I need you. A lot of Army are opening up here about dark times, and I've really been there, but I want to say this: If BTS are your reason for staying alive, that's OK, they can be that, but one day I hope you realise the strength to stay alive was actually you all along. You might not feel brave enough to admit it now, but it's you, you're the one making that decision. The past few years of my life have been the hardest, i lost all of my friends, clung to online friends, depression and anxiety got worse, suicide was always on my mind, at the start of the year a person in ky school set up fake accounts on snap chat, pretending to be me and my only friend, they sent hate to others in the school and even threatened to shoot up the school, i wanted to drop out of school and give up, the whole world was against me. Then i found BTS when i was at my lowest. I dont have any words for how much i love them, they are the only ones there for me just with their music. I wish more than anything that i could meet them and thank them.

Listening to this in headphones with full volume , in a silent room, staring at the ceiling nd letting the tears of both happiness and sadness flow, BTS has truly become our family haven't they? They grew up so much , it's just emotional thinking bout it . BTS had not only helped me but people all around the world, nd it's amazing how we all r of different places but still United as ARMY with single mindset

I remember when it was dark in winter last year and I opened youtube and serendipity was recommended. I heard jimins voice for just a few seconds and my tears left my eyes. I understood nothing but my heart was touched 💜💙 that's why I really love BTS

I lay here in my bed and read all the comments of many beautiful souls, of army. It hurts my heart so deeply to read of the struggles, stresses and fears of young people around the world. Bts’s music truly is like medicine for the hearts of people who are struggling. To those who have been hurt in the past, to those who are in pain now, to those who live in fear and stress, I hear you. Our hearts bleed for each other, our tears fall together, and together we listen here in this moment, a painkiller to it all, the music of BTS. Is it not the beauty in the pain? We stand together and always will, United as army. BTS give us healing and I will be forever thankful for them. And to all the souls who have written their struggles here, you are seen, you are heard and BTS along with army, will continue to be there for you.

I told my bestfriend i would never listen to BTS and here I am listening to it. She's the reason for this she forced me into listening to it and i'm now attached.

This playlist brings back to when my fangirling all started, The month of August, 2016 I heard save me and *boom* I wanted wings concert tickets so badly that I would do anything for them *I didn’t get them* But I got the mots7 tickets but the concert got postponed and I’m really sad 😔 and I hope Jin isn’t in the army by the time I get to see it cause I want to see all of them together one last time because now all I think about is BTS without Jin. Now my mind is thinking that every single concert they do is one last farewell from that city before they in list in the military. I know it’s mandatory and it’s gonna happen anyway but I need his dad jokes forever.

I was really upset. My friends had excluded me because of the someone who followed me to my house. I couldn't breathe. I called my mom and went home. That day they had spoken behind me all sorts of things. I was very upset for a long time. But then I discovered BTS. I watched their videos and they really made me laugh. I started to take care of them. I listened to their songs and they really taught me to love myself, BTS is my medicine. I am so grateful to them. Thank you very much, Bangtan. I love you. Take care of yourself.

I was a soft hearted person before but things happened in my life that i never thought could happen and i became cold hearted i realizes i have friends that just used me i was devastated and my cousin being rude towards me even i did nothing but he stole things from me i don’t know what I’ve done wrong to him his just very rude to me even I’m older than him so thats not it theres more but I don’t really want to talk about it but ever since bts came to my life everything changed I laughed and smile so widely and didn’t care when my parents looking at me weirdly because i never felt this happy in my entire life and now that there teaching me to love myself help me more on not giving up on myself i really want to say thank you to bts for making my life better and brighter they really help me a lot they help me move on things that aren’t important in my life anymore so now I’m feel better than before hopefully i will also be part of the purple ocean i mean every army deserves to be part of it and pls don’t ever hate on yourself because it will be the biggest mistake you do hating yourself also means not trusting yourself so pls love yourself I promise you it will be the best thing to do in your entire life so have a great day know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by god😊😊😊😊 BORAHAE💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

since people are sharing their stories i might as well share mine. I found bts when i needed to smile the most, they are the reason why i smile today. Their music touches me it made me express my feelings when i can’t feel anything. Some people don’t understand that they saved us from ourselves they are our reason for smiling. They are the reason for us being alive and i know that sounds a little exaggerated and it’s not some of us were in a really dark and bts came in and saved us, they showed us the light. They showed us thats its ok to laugh, and smile. 💜

I’ve been really stressed this week and I’ve rarely had time to watch BTS so i don’t know what I’ve missed this week but after i was done with school testing i sat down and listened to this playlist and it helped a lot TYSM i purple you! 🥺💜 나는 당신을 보라색 💜

BTS made me a happier person.... They made me realize that I'll always have someone there next to me and that I'm not alone. They've helped me through the good and the bad they've told me right from wrong they've taught me that I don't walk alone even when things get tough they still tell me that I'm worth it and that other army are too. BTS ARE AWESOME! 💜💜💜

Having bts as wallpaper is a cure to my sadness. Imagine feeling down opening ur laptop and the first thing you see is hobi’s smile ❤️

One day I had enough of the world. I was going to end my life. I remember my friend telling me if I ever wanted to do something like that to listen to BTS and read the lyrics. I was outside in fact it was raining(lol) and I remember just breaking down because the lyrics hit so hard.(The song was Butterfly and Save Me) I listened to some more and wanted to learn more about the members. I started watching try not to laugh challenges and BTS being an absolute mess and I felt myself laughing and smiling truly for the first time in a long time. Before BTS when I looked in the mirror I saw pure disgust and failure but now I see a strong girl fighting for her happiness. I see a girl with a genuine smile looking back at me. People who say that BTS is overrated I really get sad because they have helped so many people through the toughest times. BTS is some people's only way of happiness. Yes sometimes I still have thoughts about suicide but I know BTS wouldn't want it so I continue pushing! Sorry for my rant....

I can't deal with my life anymore.. I have a crush and I can't tell him cause I'm fat and ugly. Don't tell me I'm beautiful because I know you just say that to make me feel better.. I made a mistake and I repeated it again.. it's all my fault.. my dad left me and my mom alone and had another family. And now all of this coronavirus spreading around.. I hate my life. No.. I just wanna end my life.. But I chose not to cause BTS taught me to love myself.. and now i'm alive, typing this.. i really want to thank BTS for saving me.

First love hits me harder than ever, my world pauses around me and i start to cry, the tears dont stop until the song ends. My heart aches afterwards. But then i remember how Yoongi obtained his future and then I smile. Even though RM is my 1st bias, Yoongi will forever have a place in my heart. I truly understand him through his lyrics. I feel his emotions as well Joonie. This song makes me want to express how i truly feel at times and i just dont have courage too shout at the top of my lungs but i write them out. BTS has truly helped me. Not just yoongi alone but each and everyone of them have given me a way that i can learn how to appreciate the world around me. Theyve taught us soooo much.

Just because you fall into depression or other negative feelings does not mean you've been disloyal, honey! :( Yoongi himself had strayed away from music due to depression and hardship, but he always found his way back. If you still want to stan BTS, or any other artist for that matter, you can! Maybe life is busy and hard, but if listening to them makes you happy, you can always just listen to a song a day. Please don't give up the things you love. They are my rock and they can be yours again too. 💜

BTS has inspired me immensely they have inspired me to my life to the fullest because the truth is life is something to be cherished. They give something to live for because even when I’m at my lowest I just think about their message and it immediately makes me smile and wipe away my tears. They say all good things come to an end but not this. Not us. We are more than just fans we’re a family. So please live your life and live it to the fullest because it doesn’t last as long as you’d think and now that I’m aware of that there’s not a moment that I want to waste by being sad, or upset, or genuinely hating myself or anyone else. Because for all you know we could all drop dead right hear right now. And bts has helped me realize how important and loved i am and how to love myself. Music can resonate with you even from just the harmonies, you don't need to understand it in the moment, you can read the lyrics as you listen, or remember them to feel the raw emotion in their music. These boys have worked hard for where they are now, facing critics, racism, and they've broken the language barrier. Some might say that their music is low quality and over groups deserve to have what they have. Of course other kpop groups will eventually break through, but remember why BTS stood out in the first place. man I literally forgot that I was depressed a couple years ago I srly didn't care abt anything I found BTS by KZread and I was really impressed by...well I don't know what I was impressed abt but I was impressesd by everything lol, day by day I started to brighten up I stoped crying for a while and stoped having suicidal thoughts I was happy again I literally forgot why I was depressed lol probably school and some family members god really did a great job of making these 7 men on earth if they never existed I wouldn't be here....I really appreciate the boys(wow this is really long its like a whole paragragh lmao)

I cried to sleep, I hid my feelings with a smile, I cried every night, I gained and lost weight, I felt worthless, I almost ended it all... no one noticed. Then one of my dearest friends introduced me to bts. They made me smile like I have never have. They helped me get out of a really dark place. I am so thankful to have them and for my best friend. I pray to meet them one day the boys who saved me.. -thanks remember if you don’t feel loved just remember bts loves you and so do I ❤️

when I was listening to this mix, I heard tae's deep voice & I was beautifully touched and the next thing I knew it a warm tear came rapidly down. I felt it fall down the left side of my nose, it touched me. I didn't even know why I was crying at first. Bts is amazing and the 7 boys healed me, thank you for this mix. 💜

I was tired of life, I was tired of people, I was just tired of everything I was in a hole where I wanted to get out but I couldn't, i was alone I never felt real love not even a love of a real mom but a day when I watched TV I saw that a boygroup called BTS is doing a World Tour which is called loveyouself and I wasn't at first interested but I dared to hear their music and I felt like Someone understands me and now I Listen to they music everytime when I feel upset it's like All the plain that I had is gone and I feel free and happy when I Listen to they music ,the plain is still not all gone but I try to leave everything behind

Don't you just love it when you listen to a playlist so much that you already know what the next song would be?

I can proudly say that BTS has changed my life ... 😌 Because of them I smile more I am happy I enjoy more I laugh more I learn more I blush more I learn to love myself I have stopped overthinking on how others judge me , how they critisize my appearance...... @@ss...7208 Exactly. I don't listen to a lot of modern American music, especially rap, for that reason. Most English songs nowadays have little to no significant meaning and are very generic. I like songs that not only have a good vibe and aesthetic, but have a meaning that conveys a real message.

I forgot how calming Jungkook's cover songs are. They hit differently. I mean all bts songs hit different. But when im broken up with ya know im playing Jungkook's cover songs!!

This reminds me of when right after the MetLife day 2 concert it started pouring and there was a lot of traffic so our car was just stopped in the parking lot waiting to leave and a couple cars down I could hear ppl playing bts w/ their doors open.
