OF COURSE NOT, especially with how close they're watching! They tried to save Timmy the best they could and are helping us too! Heck, they likely are the ones constantly replacing the supplies with screwdrivers and advice in trade for doubloons! (Manly may be a power addicted manic at times, but he's not criminally insane)!

I don't think Manly is bad. It's just some games making the player do wrong sometimes to progress the story and game. And sometimes Manly said he felt sorry for it. Sometimes Manly will just do something for curiosity, but not malice. Which is fine in a game.

I would just like to know which mother _drops her small child off at a doctor's office and doesn't even bother going in._ Like...even if she's negligent (which she doesn't seem to be based on her dialogue), you'd at _least_ have to go inside to _pay_ the people.

Well, not necessary. Not saying this behavior is normal ofc lol I'm refering to the second part of what you've said. Where I'm from (as well as in most countries with universal healthcare) unless you go to a private clinic most of the time you wouldn't have to pay for sth like a blood test

Parents do drop their kids at hospitals sometimes. Idk if the MC was just doing blood tests or was having to stay at the hospital for a sickness that happened to include doing blood tests for.

Perhaps it's meant to be a clinic covered parental guardian relief daycare service. Not quite necessarily overnight, like a crisis nursery. She likely dropped him off so she could set up the cake and presents, maybe also purchasing last minute groceries, or getting some brief doctor's test of her own while he got his test done.

So you have one ending where the boy gets his blood extracted, a second ending where the boy becomes a puppet (judging by the ending screen), and another where he plays with his toys and goes for his birthday party. I don't know what to make of it haha

_Pirate Cat!_ 🏴‍☠ I wanted an ending to stay with the cats, sing to their seafaring songs, and eat pancakes all day! This was so weird, and while scary had that touch of humor with Lucky Cat giving obvious info while getting your money. Felt bad for Timmy. Overall, I really liked this game and cool music lol!

Not gonna lie, this game series gives IT with how the entity manipulates children to make them commit atrocities…And I love it, every second of these two games speaks to me as an amateur artist and writer and indie game enthusiast.

at minute 33:20 we can see manly's intrusive thoughts in real time almost take over. Also pirate cats 10/10

aw, Mr Mittens the cat toy in the beginning says "I used to have a brother called twinkle toes" those are the 2 cats you have in the first game 😭🐈🧶

Okay, I have finally finished watching the video. NGL, I thought that this is a place where parents abandon their children, with Timmy seemingly... not very loved (though maybe it's just among his peers). It should take only minutes for your blood to be drawn for testing (which I assume is what this "blood work" is supposed to be), so kinda weird for all these parents to NOT simply wait around instead (or even just accompanying their child). Finally, imagine all those parents to come back and pick up their children... Did they? At all? Yours seemed to have came back, but what about everyone else who came before you? Could be yet another case of me over-analyzing though. With how surreal the whole thing is, perhaps sense and reason should be simply thrown out. Besides, everything is possibly supernatural-- perhaps the Master/toybox brought you back/kept you alive, in hopes that you'd serve it much like the protag in the previous game (due to supposedly being similar)... but it backfired instead this time, when the cat(s), one of the previous victims (I think. Twinkletoes at least. I need to rewatch the 1st game), helped you. I'd quite like to see the aftermath... surely there has to be news about a bunch of kids found dead in the clinic... and the protag's mom really ought to feel bad about leaving her child unattended for something as simple as blood draw. (Though I suppose it's also possible that the mom left to buy/pick up the cake and present, to be efficient with time-- to be fair, normally parents really don't need to be so paranoid... Ah, secondary trauma...) (Still doesn't explain why every other parents did this also though. Are they ALL having their birthday, and the clinic is having a birthday promotion?)

Oh, and I think... the clinic probably picked up the toybox somehow, and placed it in the clinic thinking that it'll be good for the children... but it turned everyone working at the clinic into the Master/toybox's servant instead. There was a news article in this game explaining what happened to the first game, but I don't remember the details or the time stamp.

@All_is_ter Yes, that's exactly it! Thanks! So this game follows the... 1st ending? of the first game... hmm... that's curious. How did the clinic get the toybox, then? How did the whole clinic fall under the toybox's control? ... I guess maybe they (or just the protag form the previous game) placed it there, and it got used by the clinic personnel? I think this is something that could be elaborated on by the dev. (Unless I somehow missed a detail explaining how the toybox got there.) In retrospect, the "good ending" of the first game wouldn't work, since the protag is supposed to have killed the Master (by sacrificing himself and getting trapped in the box). It seems like it's not the ending where the protag killed his grandma either, since the mother was reported to have been assaulted (also a curious detail... did the mom survive?), but the grandma was missing.

I think there's a poster about blood work, so it's more likely for the kids to be there for blood work, and the two kids we do know were only being left there very temporarily (as apparently the protag's mom did come back). Once the blood is drawn, the patient should be free to go, as they already got the blood for analysis. Of course, that's not the case here, but this is what the parents should expect-- which is why it's weird that so many of them left their kids unattended for something that should only take a few minutes.

Not at all what I was expecting from a sequel, and I'm okay with that. The first two endings were fairly scary given the context, and then we had the best route by a mile with the pirate kitties. Lore beyond that didn't matter, those pancakes looked delicious.

There's a symbolism to what the cat says. Like in the second ending, the cat says "It's you or him" and it means it's you or the doctor. In the end, you guys have a fight to be 'the master's' puppet.

Feels like that was a easy fix of just having the character hide the screwdriver as the doctor enters.

These kinda cartoonish artstyles are always one of my fav artstyles in games there’s just something about it :0

This game was like a fever dream, but I loved every second of watching it. The cat pirate ship was very confusing yet very wholesome and welcome at the same time. It felt so random yet it was my favorite part lol. And the music was cute, and the melodic meows when they spoke went so well with it 😭

Since the body makes new blood over time, killing would not take full advantage of the body. Which only gives way for more disturbing methods to take it over time. Rather than killing them out right it would make more sense to keep them alive. Just wanted to say what makes more sense if the goal is to get as much blood as possible.

Maybe it's because Master only wants blood from birthday boys (I guess) so it wouldn't make much sense to keep them alive for more than 1 day.

I love how Hero becomes a try hard when it comes to stabbing the doctor lol-

The minimal string music is pretty nice. The evil clinic is rarely sterile, only doctor Smiley's office is a little barren. Instead of a secret dog ending, we got a secret cat ending.

Was woken up by a text saying I didn’t have to go into work due to a storm. I was sad 😞 but then I seen Manly made a video and I got excited to stay home 😊

The cat part was so unexpected. It completely killed the tension lmao, I was absolutely confused why it was there but tbh we needed that safe haven haha. It makes me happy that the kitty from the first game was loyal to his human he followed him into the toy box.
