Luckily it's not set in the US (it's in the UK), so the protag has workers rights, the devs just didn't want you to refuse the egg fried rice. :P

If the killer wore an orange polo I'd assume it was Uncle Rodger killing you for daring to eat an egg fried rice that had no MSG.

The way manly said "that's still good" after seeing the bread was expired is so real😭😭😭

At first I thought the game is set in Japan, because driving on the left and it being a retro style horror game. But the fact that you get the egg fried rice specifically at a chinese restaurant and not any local one gave me a hint. But what set the scene was the homeless guy asking for pennies and the villain looking like that. The game is clearly set in Britain...

I got it pretty early on because it said 'whinging' instead of whining in the first ending and it called the flashlight a torch.

It's always an experience when you go from watching a high graphics, wonderful horror narrative called Still Wakes The Deep, to come to your favourite KZreadr's newest video.... and it's about killing people through the power of fried eggs.

I can imagine it was shocking, transitioning from that to a story that's easily the scariest game in a long time.

To be honest, the protagonist deserved it after not questioning that the restaurant was closed, and walking after getting attacked on the road.

Late night eatting and fried rice aint a bad choice to eat but getting killed is a bummer

I like this game. The concept is a bit ridiculous, but everything seems to be properly covered. Even though I knew the man was going to turn around and stab you, it was still a bit unnerving. But the best part is probably that there's a good ending if you act sensibly. (I thought being able to find the dead restaurant people was incredibly neat.) Although knowing this protag, his day will probably go poorly for one reason or another regardless. Well, hopefully his boss would be more understanding in the ending where the murderer was actually caught!

I immediately recognized the song the guy was humming as Daisy Bell LOL Neat that it played on the radio when he was around too, its a fun detail

very off topic but i love it when manly uploads. i practically grew up with him. i remember my first video i watched from him was death palette, and now here we are. i was a teenager when i started and now i’m working my first job. it was rough (like most first times starting jobs) but sitting on the couch and watching manly is totally worth it. on topic: my lunch today was thai fried rice, thankfully didn’t die :D

from a developers perspective, they’re simple concepts that are easy enough to translate into games! which makes it simpler to get a finished product out into the world, and it feels super rewarding :) games like this are usually smaller projects, hence their simplicity hehe
