Sophie is a repressed young woman who lives and works in a miserable hotel. Every night she is forced to sing in the hotel’s function room. Sophie’s voice is awful, the crowd hate her, and she feels constantly humiliated. When a new performing partner in the form of a Walrus unexpectedly enters her life, Sophie forms a bond which gives her the confidence to break free from her surroundings, discovering her primal self by doing so.
Sophie vit et travaille dans un hôtel misérable. Chaque nuit, on la force à chanter dans la salle de réception de l’hôtel. Sa voix est affreuse, le public la déteste et elle se sent constamment humiliée. Lorsqu’un morse entre soudain dans sa vie, Sophie crée un lien qui lui donne la confiance nécessaire pour se libérer de son environnement, découvrant ainsi son moi profond.
