Congrats Coach Bluder!!!❤ Congrats Ladies...You opened everyone's eyes with such a great run!!

Coach Bluder is a Class Act. That question from the young lady from Cleveland brought a tear to my eye. CC may be gone but Hawkeye Nation has one helluva Coach and Leader and Staff!! She has a pretty good recruiting class coming in and the future of the Iowa Hawkeyes is in incredibly capable hands!!

Lisa is a great coach. I will watch the games next year as well if I am still around; I'm old.

It's more like Caitlin made her look like a great coach which she ain't. C'mon, Bluder coached for 35 years and has only two NCAA Final appearances to show for without winning any. And winning few Big10 championships in women's basketball doesn't mean much outside Big10.

Bluder has been around the game for a long, long time. I admire her as a coach. She and Staley are great ambassadors for the game. Looking forward to seeing how she and Iowa move forward to the post-Caitlin era. An aside--I wouldn't say nobody thought Iowa would be there at the beginning of the year

Iowa players are true ballers and this coach is amazing to bring her small bench so far. All your bench were amazing.

Lisa Bluder is a classy, great coach. Gabbie is my fave with her tenacity and selflessness, big plays at big times. Hey coach, go coach the Kentucky men. Love your style of play.

We love you coach Bluder. I wouldn’t take any other college coach over you. And there are so many great coaches in the women’s game. Just like Caitlin, you are a true champion. Never a double loser

It is extremely hard to get there! people always say, oh you'll do it next year, but that's not a given, (anything can happen!) anyone can have the game/night of their life and knock an amazing team out that everyone thought was going to win, so hats off to them for making it back to the final again, because it ain't easy!

Upon observance of the game IOwa the young lady team done their best but they collapsed in rebounding but for me I had to congratulate coach Bluder and greatest women player Caitlin Clark as well as her teammates nevertheless in a game there's always be a winner Congratulations to the champ South Carolina To Caitlin Clark these is not the end of your journey together with your teammates Kate Martin Gabbie Marshall Stuelke and the rest of the team congratulations once again

After the Game Dawn Staley was talking, and said something that blew my mind! 🤯🤯They South Carolina spent the 3 practices before NC State preparing to stop Caitlyn and Iowa! WOW, that was quite a gamble and it paid off! Love Dawn Staley, but Iowa could not even consider that as an option with a game against UCONN and Geno!💛🖤

It only seems that in the last two or three weeks teams started hounding Clark with stick-like-glue defense in her face. It was the only way to slow her down. You can't let her have any space at all or she'll get you. Why didn't all teams try that? Maybe they didn't have anyone fast enough or with enough stamina. Hell if I know. I watched and listened to a number of games where CC had some trouble in the third and fourth quarter scoring. She can't do it all. All I know is that there is no other way. Either way, it was exciting basketball no matter who you cheered for. I do know is it is hard to win it all with just one player scoring half your points.

S.C. bench is unbelievable! Each game they score 30 to 35 points a game. That's hard to compete with. Next year Dawn's bench will be ready to be starters because she know how to develop & use her bench. Only 2 of S.C. players are leaving. WOW!

That first question 🤪

Bluder blew her chance for glory while she had CC. She didn't develop other players as shooters and depended too heavily on CC to do all the scoring to win. Her strategy of putting all eggs in one basket failed against LSU and SC in the NCAA Finals, back to back. Her team will be in the rebuilding mode, starting next year, with mediocre results, at best, until another player like CC joins her team or she develops her players to be better scorers.

Excuse me? Lisa Bluder did one hell of a job coaching this team. She took Iowa to back to back final fours. I'm an Iowa fan and I can appreciate what the team has done the past two years. Give her a break.

Mostly agreeing with your point. Iowa has been a good program but from a recruiting perspective, SC is bringing in an awesome class and LSU, UCONN are bringing in top recruits. Iowa is not going to be a place where any top prospects are wanting to play.

Every coach has their own flair so. Lost me on the wheel of fortune vp award, but every coach has their own schtick so. It's like you have to watch a thousand games to see what you are looking for.

She waisted her bench players all season long depending on a few of them. You can't waist a player like McAabe was a talented freshman 3point shooter. A.J., Goodman,Gyamfi, they should been more involved.

Im.a South Carolina fan but I feel sorry for the rest of the team I blame u the coach allowing her with all of those forced shots down the stretch ur offense is fluid in the half court but u let her just chuck up the dumb shots and cost u the game

Class, class, class..................better than any other coach in representing their university. She speaks with such positivity and dignity.

I like Lisa. But she didn’t adjust to getting virtually show down low. She should have had everybody shooting threes. This isn’t a hindsight comment. It was obvious as it unfolded. I say this as an Iowa fan.

You are asking for A LOT if you think that 3 players can win against a huge / amazon team like SC... talk about a stacked LINE UP... who couldn't win with that? THEY ALMOST LOST to fair.. HAWKS are an amazing team at their UNDER SIZE and the fact that they can out run most of the other teams ... good game HAWKS.
