Liquidating the Forests

EIA's new investigative video details the extent and nature of illegal logging in the Russian Far East (RFE) and tracks illegally harvested valuable hardwoods across the border into China, through factories and warehouses, to its ultimate destination in showrooms around the world. It is then purchased by consumers unaware of the devastating effects on the environment, local peoples, and the forest industry, as well as on law enforcement and governance throughout the RFE.

As a longtime flooring dealer..I am proud to sell only American or Canadian produced hardwood ! Most flooring dealers (and distributors) had an idea that Lumber Liquidators was "up to" something like this..for years... Siberian tigers may be endangered ... but so are reasonable and honest flooring dealers...if this continues !!

They should make lumber liquidators pay to reforest Russia, and also make Russia and China accountable for these crimes against the nature and ask them to judge and put in prison the politicians allowing this to happen.
