  The sad thing is that 1st world countries sell these things for a lot of money and then they impose cites laws that really only affect the 3rd world counties and people who can’t survive without work. They don’t give a crap about cites and neither would I if I was a day away from starving. I own a solid Madagascar rosewood guitar that was manufactured in 2021…illegal wood?   this is kinda crazy that this story isn't bigger. I recently found out about this watching episodes of an old (from 2008 )documentary series called Deadliest Journeys, which followed the truck drivers and boat pilots moving logs out of gabon. And even then, it was obvious that this was exploitative and likely illegal logging.

  Importante la preservación de los bosques de Guatemala, porque como bien vemos son una fuente importante de materia prima para la fabricación de diferentes objetos, como por ejemplo las Guitarras. Las personas deben de informarse de lo que es el Manejo Forestal Sostenible y este vídeo nos da un claro ejemplo de ello, que hay aprovechamiento forestal, hay talas que se realizan pero unas son legales y las otras ilegales. Las ilegales sin duda alguna son aquellas que están afectando seriamente a la biodiversidad y también a la economía del país.
